Well technically I didn't get it already...
My box was sent on monday it seems, and arrived in France in 2 days... So surprised it was that fast actually !

Oh, and I got a text from Fedex on tuesday telling me I would have to pay 36.96€ for customs T_T

Wow you guys get to pay a lot for the custom in Europe... :shakehead..
My last cd that I needed to pay custom was probly back 5 or 6 years ago (touch wood..), and it cost only 8 or 9 bucks CDN...

I hope I dun need to pay for the custom this time..

^ Aah, your box left on Monday. Mine left on Wednesday....I think it must of been due to Credit Card issues or whatever. (I used a friend's Credit Card) But it's so weird, that it came sooo fast! I'm so jealous! I'll have to wait until like Monday or Tuesday for it to get into my country. THEN I'll have to go to customs.

You have to pay customs for stuff that costs more than 50 euros....And also if you order it from outside of the EU market...blah blah.... Stupid stuff like that

In here we pay a casual price for custom fees.

It's decided if the package cost less than 1000$ or above 1000$.

In this case it's under 1000$ so I will pay around 35-40$ maybe just a bit more but less than 50$.

so how much 50$ = $ USD?

Well I live in Israel, I pay in NIS. xD
(I will need to pay around 120-185 NIS) I really hope not more but it's unlikely I will need to pay more. ^^

The prices are casual for that less/over 1000$ law but they are never exactly the same. >_>

okay... so 50$ NIS = ~$13.5 USD. That's not too bad. I can't imagine paying more than $20 US custom for a CD+DVD. That's a rip off..

I got the boxset though yeah like I mentioned earlier the prices are casual (so I would pay around the same for everything that cost less than 1000$). So there's no big/small/weight issues involved luckily. =P

Paying custom fee for EMS is just sucks as it is.

yeah fedex sucks for that.. At least you got a text telling you you would have to may extra fees.. I received a letter like 2 months after, telling me I had to pay for my unpaid fees etc etc... I was like wtf? Since they I never ordered anything that would come with Fedex.. EMS is so much better :3

Oh yeah Fedex sucks!!!!!!!! Last time I ordered a headphone for my brother (the one hikki wore in HEART STATION pv haha). A month after they sent me a letter telling me to pay $15 CDN extra for the custom fee! That's totally ridiculous...

So wait... you ordered the boxset, and you need to pay for 180$? I thought you said you only need to pay around 30 - 40$ and probly maximum 50$... I'm a bit confused here... :P

One thing I appreciate in Australia is we don't have customs fees for parcels unless we order something like over $1000 AUD of products in a set time period, which is usually a month or so. If I had to pay extra to receive items as well as what I already paid for them, I'd probably stop importing things all together. :thud
