We [me and my 2 friends] arrived at the concert hall at 4:30PM and the doors opened at 5.30PM. So we waited for about an hour.
Once we got inside the concert it was 6PM and the Opening act started at 7:30PM. We waited a long time~~ my poor feet (since we didn’t have seat tickets).

Opening act.

Semi Precious Weapons. Never heard of them before. I can tell you, not my kind of music. You should google them and search for them on YouTube. You’ll know what I mean. So I thought these guys would never shut up but around 8PM they finally left the stage. Thank God.
Then the curtain dropped, it was a sort of blue silky curtain. Very pretty. And again, we had to wait for half an hour! Monster Ball started at 8.30PM.
Finally! 8.30PM. A new white curtain came down and covered the blue curtain. The white curtained was used as projection screen. And next to the stage, on the left and right side, where 2 big screens.
And intro movie started to play. The showed Gaga in different kinds of outfits, in slow motion she was jumping and dancing. I don’t really remember anymore.

01. Dance in the Dark: So the blue curtain was gone and on the white curtain was “covering” the stage. Dance In The Dark started to play. The first half of the song Gaga sang and she did some poses, so you only saw here silhouette on the white curtain. Then the music stopped and there was this cool Rolls Royce on stage and there where 2 people in it. They were talking about how their car broke down and the woman said: We’ll never be at the Monster Ball in time. And then Gaga said “Oh yes you will”. And she started singing the second part of Dance in the Dark. She danced more in the second part. I don’t really remember what she wore but I believe she wore a purple outfit.

02. Glitter and Grease: Gaga please release this song soon! I totally love this song! I want it so baaaaad! Not a really special performance. She danced. Wore the same outfit as in Dance in the Dark.

03. Just Dance: Wooow, the crowd went wild during this song! Haha it was amazing. The arrangement was a bit different, sort of like a remix. It was really nice. The stage had a small runway with at the end the circle/center stage (just like Ayu’s concerts) and she sang Just Dance on the circle stage. Then she went back to the main stage.

04. Beautiful Dirty Rich: Before the song started she told us how much she hated money etc. and then Beautiful Dirty Rich started. Not very special but it was a nice performance.

05. Vanity: She said that she wrote this song a few years ago when she was living in New York with her dad (?). She danced to the song and she asked us to do some arm movements with her.

06. The Fame: She wore a red hat (?) for this and a red cape. She played some weird instrument. It seemed like a combination between a cello, piano and guitar (?). She played the instrument and sang the song.
Another intro played. I can’t remember though.

07. LoveGame: They changed the stage for this one. The cabin was on stage and Gaga was wearing some sort of nun-outfit. It was kinda like her Telephone dress (the one when she’s in the kitchen) but the skirt was more balloon like. She wore a nun cap on her hat and was wearing a “glove” that resembled a claw. LoveGame had different arrangement too, I guess you could call it the rock version of LoveGame. The second half of the song she was holding her discostick.

08. Boys Boys Boys: Well she sang and danced to this song. Nothing special.

09. Money Honey: I like this performance. One part of the stage moved up (with Gaga one it). She wore a black leather jacket and has some sort of keyboard around her neck. I believe you call it a keytar of w/e. And she sang Money Honey. Lol the keytar actually glowed in the dark. Very cool.

10. Telephone: Underneath the black leather jacket she wore the bra and underwear similar to the Telephone videoclip. She walked down the circle stage and she talked. Suddenly she had a blue phone in her hand and started saying: “Hello? Hello?” and then she sung Telephone. The crowd went wild. It was an awesome performance. She danced a lot, srsly I totally love this dance.

11. Brown Eyes: She sat behind her piano and sung Brown Eyes. Not very special. I don’t really like the song.

12. some Phil Collins song: She sang some Phil Collins song. I dunno, not a fan of the man. But before she started playing this song she talked about how she was in New York yesterday (Friday) to do a benefitconcert (?) to help save the rainforest together with other artists. She also told us that she just found out how many awards she has won on some award show but she wasn’t allowed to tell us because the show hadn’t aired yet but she dedicated the Phil Collins to us fans so I’m guessing she won quite a lot awards. She seemed so genuine and sincere while speaking, it looked like she was about to cry.

13. Speechless: Before she started singing Speechless there was talk. Maybe you guys have heard about the plane crash in Tripoli where lots of Dutch people were killed and only one little boy survived. So Gaga talked about the plane crash and asked us to think about those families and to pray for them (she asked us to grab each others hands and to point up to the sky). She also said that family and friends are important. She sang Speechless. The piano was one fire. It was very nice, her vocals were lovely too.

14. So Happy I Could Die: Round screens circling about the circle/center stage came down. Gaga walked to the center stage with some of her dancers, the dancers were carrying pieces of a white outfit. Gaga acted a bit and she was looking at the round screens and she said how beautiful it was and that maybe it was a rainbow. But it turns out it was a twister and the round screens came all the way down around Gaga and her dancers and the rounds screens showed smoke so you couldn’t see gaga. Then the screens went up again and Gaga wore a white dress with a crown. She sang So Happy I Could Die and the circle/center stage moved up (Just like Ayu’s performance of my name’s WOMEN (AT05) and Days (AT09)).

14. Monster: Loved this performance. But wtf was she wearing. D: She came out in a outfit that seems a combination between Cousin Itt (Adams Family, google it) and a mushroom. Luckily she got rid of the mushroom and underneath she wore some sort of red-ish swimsuit like outfit with a headpiece. Halfway the song she got “eaten” by the dancers and she covered by blood (red paint). It was very cool. The stage was changed into a dead forest btw. Gaga said it somewhere in the heart of Central Park.

15. Teeth: She wore a black swimsuit for Teeth. I love this song! She danced to the song. I liked the dance. Nothing special really, she asked the crowd so her our teeth. And she also said: “Jesus show me your teeth”.

16. Alejandro: She was on the circle/center stage and she was looking at the main stage. She was talking about a fountain (there was an angle shaped fountain on stage. The same as for the American Idol performance). Can’t remember what she said about the fountain. xD. She sung Alejandro, lovely performance. The wings of the fountain spit fire, it was really cool.

17. Poker Face: I loved this performance. I can’t remember what she wore though.

18. Paparazzi: … amazing. She was walking with 3 of her dancers on stage and she wore a blue dress (Loved the dress). They were talking about how scary it was and the dancers didn’t seem to believe the Monster Ball actually existed. So 2 of her friends ran away and the other one kind of doubted whether to stay with Gaga or to leave. Eventually he ran. But what they didn’t see was that there was this biiiiig monster behind them on the main stage. So then Gaga turned around and saw the Monster and she said: “It’s a mooonster” and she sang Paparazzi when she got “attacked” by the monster. She said to the audience to take it’s picture. I loved this performance. Don’t remember how it ended. xD

19. Bad Romance: An intro music played and I loved this music, the audience clapped along and the music got faster and faster. Then the music stopped and Bad Romance played. She appeared in the orb and she said something to the audience and while she started singing “ra ra ~~ etc. etc” the audience sang along. It was amazing. I loved this performance. At the end she bowed and she went off stage and the concert was finished.

Amazing concert. I totally loved it. Someone threw a teddy bear on stage and she picked up and said “dank je wel” which means Thank you in Dutch. She also kept calling us ‘kleine monsters’ which is dutch for little monsters. I loved the intro movies but I left them out of the report because I don’t know in which order they appeared. The whole concert was a big journey about how to get to Monster Ball. :yes She also told us that she loved us (:yatta) and that she loved Holland.
