well I really don't know because usually re-issue of single/album does not tend to sell well the 1st time an artiste's material is released but of course there're exceptional cases

like I think when the late ZARD passed on , wasn't her material re-issued by her record label that sorta thing ?

since I don't listen to AKB48 , I can't really comment on this but if so , then HOLIDAYS IN THE SUN might be YUI's 1st album since FROM ME TO YOU not to debut at #1

then again you have to understand , it's her 1st album release in 2 1/2 years so imagine how much anticipation her fans are looking forward to it (I hope)

Oh that one? I really wouldn't worry about that. Their Set List albums have never sold that much! Even their latest album, kamikyokutachi, sold 380k! That's very impressive, but we don't know how strong YUI will sell.

I Loved Yesterday sold 540k, BUT that was 2 years ago. Obviously sales will have dropped.

I'd say that only in a worst case scenario will she not get the no. 1 spot ^^

I don't listened to AKB48 that much too, and I'm not a fan of them, but I just heard about this, well...
I don't have any information regarding the issues, but as far as I know, they including 4 new tracks for the best album.

I hope YUI manages to sell more than this girlband, like you said before~
But if YUI fail to reach #1, I think I will blame gr8 Records for making such DVD Tracklist =_=

...and, HeySayJump album sold 63,581 copies in first day today, HOLIDAYS IN THE SUN will sell more next week, I think~

album sales for Johnny's are in general that they will get #1 but sales wise it's nothing to shout about

regardless whether HOLIDAYS IN THE SUN get #1 next week or not , it doesn't really matter that much to me . I'm just itching to hear the rest of the album tracks

I know more previews from the album are already up on her website but I don't want to listen to them as I'm too lazy lol

I guess I need to stop listening to previews of the songs, less excitement when the album is out XD

Anyway, when YUI will do live performances again?
I want to hear any other songs from her singles in live...

okay, i can say that it is now OFFICIALLY confirmed that Please Stay With Me is the insert song for matsujun's new drama! i guess it'll just be more promotion for HOLIDAYS IN THE SUN :P but i admit, i really did want a new song. but it's alright.

I don't recall any of her songs being used to promote in a MatsuJun drama so this's good for her I suppose

AKB48 is all the fuss right now. So it's safe to say that YUI will not be getting the #1 position. Of course, I could be wrong.

it's hard to tell because NINKI are always 99.999% off the mark

I'm sure a lot of YUI fans have been anticipating her comeback since she hasn't release an original album for 2 1/2 years so we'll see
