This week’s broadcast of “Tensai! Shimura Doubutsuen“, which was aired on December 11th, welcomed Yamada Ryosuke as a guest.

During the show, Yamada proclaimed his love for animals, and said that he wants to “contact” animals outside. Therefore, they showed videos of Johnny’s Entertainment seniors who have previously “contacted” with animals outdoors, in order to teach Yamada how to deal with animals.

Role Model 1: Kamenashi Kazuya (KAT-TUN) teaches “solve vigilance”.
Role Model 2: Sakurai Sho (Arashi) teaches how to “stay calm”.
Role Model 3: Inohara Yoshihiko (V6) teaches how to “contact with baby animals”.
Role Model 4: Matsumoto Jun (Arashi) teaches how to “eliminate fear toward animals”.
Role Model 5: Yamaguchi Tatsuya (TOKIO) teaches how to “make animals have interest in you”.
Role Model 6: Ohno Satoshi (Arashi) teaches how to “be patient”.

Aiba Masaki was used as a bad role model.

LOVED the PV! :heart i like how they were all in a plane the whole time, lol. i thought it was very good PV overall! much better than Hitomi no Screen.

i didn't like chinen's hair, and the same goes for takaki too. :P but yabu, yamada, and daiki looked amazing! :D sucks that all i can find on YT is the LQ versions of the PV, though. :( everything would look so much better in HQ!

anyway, here's today's SK performance of the song, and watch out for yamada in the very beginning! :luv2 his moves are crazy, lol! but yet, i still find him cute rather than sexy.

You have 3 B-sides which you only can find in the CD only edition , with FLY being 1 of them

Okay, so the CD-only version is quite unusually a bit more expensive than the CD+DVD because the CD+DVD has only one track on the CD while the CD-only version has these three B-sides and its instrumentals, totaling up to eight tracks in all...

edit: just heard the 3 b-sides! FLY is my most favorite. it's so fun! especially the "hey! say!" parts, lol. snow song & futarigake no bashou are really nice! overall, i think it's a pretty solid single. :D

The boys of Johnny’s & Associates have apparently decided to go with medleys for this year’s NTV “2010 Best Artist” shows, as the band Hey! Say! JUMP and Tackey & Tsubasa both delivered a combination of the old and new.

Hey! Say! JUMP started off first with a medley of ”Ultra Music Power” and “Arigatou ~Sekai no doko ni itemo~“, followed by Tackey & Tsubasa’s mix of “Venus” and “Ai wa Takaramono“.

Song selection for 61st NHK Kohaku Uta Hassen announced

On December 21st, NHK announced the song selection for the 44 artists/groups appearing at the Kohaku Uta Gassen, which will be broadcast live on December 31st.

This announcement is usually made through their website and the other usual ways, but this year they aired a special program called “Mou sugu Kohaku! Yoshu SP” (Kohaku will be soon! Preparation Special). This year AKB48, Koda Kumi and Wada Akiko (red team) as well as ARASHI, NYC, Kayama Yuzo, Go Hiromi and SMAP (white team) will be presenting special medleys instead of just one song. Singer Nakamura Mitsuko will also set a new record by presenting her song “Kawachi otokobushi” for the 8th time at Kohaku uta gassen.

Kohaku uta gassen is one of the longest running programs in Japanese TV and shows the biggest Jpop and Enka-artists of the year on December 31st. This years hosts will be ARASHI for the white team and actress Matsushita Nao for the red team.
