I think its good as it is, with them just being support, epecially since they have other commitments, one day they might have to perform but it's clash with the same date as brz so then half the band wouldn't be able to turn up ,it'd be sad for us wouldn't it, s I think its best to stay this way.

That's the thing about him being a talento . He's able to mask his problems with laughter & choice of words so that people will laugh alongside with him & that probably can take some of the stigma away

I'm sure there're a lot of people who doesn't like him for riding on his late grandpa's name but for me , I see nothing wrong with it . He understands that too

If not , he would have told the whole country about it way back when he was in JZEIL (when his grandpa was still alive) if not when he was DAIGO STARDUST but he chose not to in order to try to carve a name for himself in the business but to no avail

He also said on AnS that he doesn't want to ride on his grandpa's name & also music & politics do not go hand in hand together too :no

But then again , I find it amusing when Nino asked him why he finally choose to come out & tell everyone & DAIGO replied that he was about to hit 30 & that this was getting bad :roflmao

Maybe I can't understand the significance impact of this (since I have 0 interest in politics) but I find it quite amusing that by telling the whole Japan that you're the grandson of a late prime minister some 2 years back , BOOM , the group's popularity skyrocketed since then

But at least now I don't need to worry about BRZ charting at #300 (CRASH & BUILD's peak position X_X) & let alone not charting (self titled debut album's case T_T)

For me I feel that him revealing his family, is not that big a deal, since they are not in the same line of work, nor do I feel like it has any actual effect on DAIGO's work.

I did see a poll and I don't remember seeing his Grandpa's name there, it was somehting about influential people (there were other politicians on the list)

maybe its because i'm outside of Japan so I don't actually see the effect it has, nor what people in Japan feel about it.

I supposed his late grandpa was a really good prime minister during the time when he took office

if not , a lot of people wouldn't be interested at the things DAIGO does now . People wouldn't give a hoot about him frankly speaking if he didn't come clean on this matter some 2 years back

I don't know when this happened but it was probably after Ao no Mirai was released if not maybe a few days before or after his 30th birthday as the chart gap between Ao no Mirai & SUMMER PARTY / LAST EMOTION was astounding

I was already suspicious during my early days of supporting the guys as to what attributed to this . Well now I know better
