The single is called "風は吹いている" (Kaze wa Fuiteiru "The Wind is Blowing").

You can pretty much already guess the senbatsu for this one (and yes, it includes SKE and NMB *faceplam*) and various posts from the girls' blogs have pieced together most (but not all) of the UG line-ups but it's easier to wait until it's all official so I won't post anything til then.

@jeffycue: Same! I get to see plenty of her in WH7 but it's not enough. D: Need more Nacchan love. <333 She's one of the main girls I hoping gets into Janken senbatsu (along with Miorin and Nakayan :heart )

Lol, pretty much. XD Plus Horipro has done such a good job with her career already, while putting her as center would boost her popularity more for now, she's doing just fine on her own.

With Mariko, she barely has time for AKB-activities any more. I recall her having the worst attendance record for the stages last year. It's great she's such a popular personality and is starring in movies but it leaves no room for a sub-unit or solo career or she would definitely have one already. She's someone that won't have to rely on the AKB48 name, she'll be famous all on her own. That's the reason why I want her to be center at least once before that happens or at least be given a graduation single... she's been a fan favorite since before she was even IN the group so surely no one would object to that.

Oh and totally agree with Polyrhythm about Not yet. I had such high hopes for this group. They come out with a sub-unit consisting of some of the best dancers in AKB48 with this cool, hipster image claiming their first single would be "House" style then the song turns out to be the most typical of idol pop and the PV some freakish mess with horrendous outfits and masked cheerleaders. Then it's summer, they need a second single so bikini time and yet ANOTHER forgettable throw away song. It's like they created this group for the sole purpose of being a Yui vehicle, needed a popular girl to draw attention so they put Yuko in, then threw in Sasshi and Rie since they weren't doing anything else. They have no idea what to do with this group AT ALL. Yuko really deserves better.

So, I've never been super into and of the AKB groups, although I do love RIVER (even if they sound like they are saying "liver"). Anywho, there is a singer named Miray that I am a huge fan of, real name Kaneko Mirei. Is it true that she is joining SND48? I read it on last.fm and Wikipedia, but I don't know how reliable they are. She is supposedly joining the 3rd generation?

Amrai-chan 10th September 2011 02:28 AM

That would be her. Yes she's a part of SDN's 3rd generation. :)

Wow, I'm shocked its true. On the one hand I'm sad, because I loved her solo and she had such a unique sound. But, on the other hand I know that she's not terribly popular, so I hope this boots her image and I'm glad to know she will still be active. At first, when read that she would be in the group, I thought it meant she was a past member. Anyway, I'm totally going to be paying more attention to AKB now. How will I know when she is going to be involved in a release?

Ranma Matsuri 10th September 2011 03:54 AM

You can see her profile here: http://www.sdn48.co.jp/members/ She's very pretty. :)

It's hard to say when she (and the rest of 3rd generation) will start being active. SDN48 news doesn't come as frequent and often as AKB/SKE and even NMB news does unfortunately.

I assume they will be in the next single (which hasn't been announced yet) and start being added to the stage performances soon. I'd say just to check in with the SDN section at Stage48 (http://stage48.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=37) every once in a while to see what's up.

I see her sense of style and make-up kinda changed for that shoot, probably to make sure they all look cohesive. She used to be quite tan and had more doll like make-up. But, she still looks good.

Thanks for the links and info. Gotta keep myself updated.

She's already started: miray performs on アバズレ (Abazure) as part of Undergirls B on the MIN.MIN.MIN single and is also in the PV. :cool

The senbatsu and undergirls groups change with each single so she might not be on the next one and since SDN just released MIN.MIN.MIN in August it'll be a few more months till their next single. Just keep an eye on Stage48 and their official pages for news and details. ;)

OogoeDiamond 10th September 2011 06:02 AM

about SND I really hope they will release their fist stager on DVD soon maybe two generations at one - like with Himawari stages I kind of belive that maybe 2nd generation and 3ed for sure might be somekind of SND kankyuseii subsitute cause members are getting smaller and smaller

PoetGirl 10th September 2011 07:51 AM

OogoeDiamond 11th September 2011 12:02 AM

Yup, that's who I'm talking about. She is so under-rated. I was looking into why there was no new news with her, and found out she was in SDN48. I will miss her music. So fun and cheerful. Glad she will be doing something. She may have been dropped by avex :/

I'd say HELL YEAH. Bring on the Team B goodness! :luv2 (oh and the other two teams too) :P

I will not be happy however if there's a Regular Senbatsu song instead of a UG song as the B-side though and it gets more attention than the actual A-side. :grumpy

OogoeDiamond 12th September 2011 09:38 AM

Ranma Matsuri 12th September 2011 11:56 AM

Yeah, it's not confirmed yet which is why I didn't post it. Not really liking it so far. Where is my Fresh Lemon? ;__;

bondingo 12th September 2011 08:41 PM

^ Hopefully nowhere to be found :laugh

If this is true: I'm happy Wasamin's in UGB. Hopefully their song is good. Kind of sad to see Sayaka put back in Undergirls though, but oh well.

Either way, I'm REALLY just hoping this single will indeed be Beginner II.
