Does Lady Gaga actually listen to the music she makes anymore? If anybody else put this out they'd be considered a joke.

It's such a shame, The Fame Monster was pretty much a perfect pop album, it was catchy but it had those darker moments on it, and they came across as only half-serious in rather self aware way. Even The Fame was pretty fun and catchy.

I think she's better when she doesn't take herself seriously...

Actually, anything of that is actually part of the era (and I pray it wont be). When she announced collaborations with Marina Baramovic I actually expected things like this. Watching Marina's older performances, that thing in the video is as normal as drinking water LOL

Here's my story:

I don't like her as a person. Not one bit. I used to though. It's different from my indifference to namie and respect for kumi.
But I like the music. I'm here for the music.
I used to be a rabid fan like the monsters, but I've changed. I was a fan since before just dance exploded.
I guess you could also say my judgemental attitude is the result of subjectification by various sources.
But even if I think she's a horrid pop star with nice tunes, I keep coming back for her. Somewhere deep within me, my love for her remains. Even if it is believed by people that she exploits people for attention/sales, hypes up **** and lies, I still want to read news about her/talk about her/anticipate new music. Like, I talk about her even if I don't like her (and only like the music). She's like an enigma, you know. I'm even planning to buy ARTPOP physically. I told my sister that we're getting the deluxe edition and everything. She's the only artist of which I have downloaded their entire discography completely legally.



Or it's just that I can't let go of her.
It's a weird relationship. This woman was my early high school years. Nostalgia too~
