Just came in the mail. (Or, actually, came directly into the front door since I ordered through CDJapan, got the poster that I won't be opening just yet, and had to be packaged in a case long enough NOT to fit into my mailbox.) And already... #FirstPressProblems

Apparently there was a misprint: Okaeri and Mikazuki mixed up. It was originally printed as "4. Mikazuki / 5. Okaeri", but the actual playlist was "4. Okaeri / 5. Mikazuki", so they added the correct materials, which involves the clear slipcase and a mini booklet that came with the Blu-ray.

Man, those first print mistakes! :D

As for the Rainbow Road covers...MY GOODNESS! One of my favorite covers! :O

Dear god. Those ae some fugly covers. I won't judge this fugly book by its fugly cover and I'll patiently wait for the remaining 4-5 songs to be released.


I just listened to the trailer. That song she played took a hot steaming shit on anything and everything she has released since 2012!! (barring The beginning of course)


Edit: I just learned that No End is a COVER song! This is too much. I'm praying that the original songs are just as good as this cover. it's a good song and when I get it in HQ I'll play it to death but I don't want it to be the case that a cover song is better than original songs. I'll drag ayaka to the N/A oricon chart position zone.

the only cover I like is the FC edition :( but No end and Lose control are fiiiire!!

Rainroad Road covers are just bad . I'm ok with the background but why does ayaka looked so washed up if not horribly photoshopped ?

It's quite odd that ayaka always tend to dress a lot more older than her age & she's the same age as me for crying out loud -_-

Oh well I will still buy the album even though the overall feeling feels like Nijiiro part 2 but only a lot more worst

ok so No end is not actually a cover, but she used a demo by a friend of hers Tom Collekiyo, replacing most of the English lyrics by Japanese and playing on melody and English words

i keep going back to this thread...just to see those bad covers...especially Studio album CD + Nijiiro Acoustic Live Tour 2014 ~3-STAR RAW~ concert CDs..ughh..the smile is so..not natural...

maybe its her intention to make this so bright and very amateurish to catch people eyes?

I don't know if the covers are done intentionally to look bad but I think at the end of the day , she wants to focus more on her music ?

Although I feel after she came back from hiatus , ayaka's dress sense has come into question in more times than I can count . Like , she's the same age as me but she doesn't need to overdress & make herself look 10 years older

I think they simply chose the wrong shots for the covers, but I guess it catches your eye and is uh at least not forgettable, like Ayumi's "(miss)understood" CD cover.

She has her own label right now, right? Maybe her team is not as professional as before? Her music is nice, but yes her packaging is so..not nice...

Pretty interesting. Just about every song - except No end (and, also, heard it was based off on a Tom Collekiyo demo) - has a tie-in...

(I have to wonder...will 'No end' have a tie-in? If so, then we may be seeing a studio album that contains a tie-in on every song! :D)

As for the dress and shots issue...it's really hard to say at this point. All I want is a #1, but...

(The potential competitor that I'm hearing is Miyavi, but I'm not sure if he's really that high caliber facing off Ayaka come April 15th.)

I might agree with this. A stAtion is an independent label that she created (though it is being distributed by Avex), this was after she left Warner when she said 'she is going on hiatus.' I could guess semi-professionalism...
