The same for me. Well, hasn't really gotten rid of the depression but it's been helping me deal with it better. I'm becoming really attached to this album.
I listen to it at least once a day. The ballads actually grew on me a lot too.

Finally got my CD in the mail yesterday!! :D so happy with it

a Bell:is so pretty :D

Warning: IS MY LIFEEEEE I love the lyrics i love the baddassery I love everything about it, its probably my favorite ayu rock song in a really really long time.

No future:, I like it but the ending repeating 3-4 x kind of was a bit jarring >.> still nice

Anything for you: i liked soooo much even tho it was long, the emotion was there

Last Minute: <3 still love it

Zutto: <3 still love it

Out of Control: i love that guitar in the end and it goes to her quiet bridge. BEAUTIFUL

Story: its typical but its perfect, and the lyrics made me cry. such a beautiful song

The Gift: I actually really like this haha

The Show Must go On: i like it but its not amazing i prefer snowy kiss, but it certainly is catchy!

walk: pretty ending ballad

MOWY: a fun ending!!

OVERALL: I am SOOOO happy with this album, I really feel like the old ayu is back <3 I havent seen her since Love Songs and now she really is getting back to what made her amazing. Even though there were songs here and there from her past relases that I liked and even loved it didnt come together. THIS CAME TOGETHER. Just the fact that i'm taking the time to write this because I care so much about the album actually goes to show how good it is. Also random note: I don't really call it A One for me, I just call it Alone XD

tsumekaze_ 22nd April 2015 11:06 PM

mowy literally RUINS the flow of the album.
Don't get why she included that.
Especially when walk - tell all 2015 mix would have been PERFECT one after the other.
why ayu why

Story is SO flawless omg. I hope it goes down as a classic in her discography. That song reminds me of MY STORY-Memorial address.

^ Don't say that you're gonna summon Zeke. and its anger if you compare it to MY STORY :laugh

I think it's the first time since long that i listen to a whole ayu album album a lot and not just some songs.

Stan for one of the best songs on A ONE!

Same! I've been replaying the entire album over and over, it's the only thing that I need in my life right now

Ok I'm just going to review one song: "The Show Must Go on". I definitely hear the the resemblance to "Snowy Kiss". They are almost identical especially at the beginning. But Snowy Kiss is basically my favorite song from the Love again era and I think, TSMGO is probably even better so I'm completely ok with it.

Been quite lazy posting on these forums recently but finally here are my A One thoughts (which arrived last week!!):

A Bell- nice intro, sort of reminds me of Prologue
Warning - I actually love the transition between A Bell and Warning. It's nice to have another upbeat rock song!
No Future - I love the beeps and electronic vibes on this song. At first I wondered if I actually thought if it was too long (which is rare for me) but it's grown on me! Also reminds me of ASFXX (album)
Anything For You - Repeating what everyone else has said but it really doesn't feel 7 minutes long. It's a nice comforting Ayumi track you can just play and "settle into"
Last Minute - still enjoying this, it's all about when those guitars kick in
Zutto - I really like the music on this one. It's not one of my favourites but there is something about this song. It always gets stuck in my head
Out of Control - love the guitars and electronic (?) bits
Story - think this one is a grower
The Gift - It's alright, could potentially grow on me some more
The Show Must Go On - my favourite track of the album! Yes it sounds a lot like Snowy Kiss but I love that song too!
Walk - really like the melody in the verses, another sweet, comforting Ayu track
Movin' on Without You - I know a lot of people wanted Walk to be the last track, but I think this rounds off things well. XOXO was enjoyable enough but it wasn't exciting me for any other RedOne tracks. This is a definite improvement.

PVs - Waaay better than Colours PVs, which are possibly her worst set of videos. They might not be her best PVs but seem quite Ayu-ish. I was surprised that A Crew directed Warning as it a step up from their last PVs. Also Zutto is so pretty.

I was very excited by the intro, until her voices come in... that part with the "The show must go on, yea yea yea" was so grating ugh.

THIS. The second-hand embarrassment that I feel whenever this part comes in.. The nasal yea yea yea yea.. UGH.

truehappiness 1st May 2015 01:40 AM

The yeah yeah yeah yeah is my favorite part of that song after the intro.

Gustavopc 1st May 2015 02:22 AM

Story is flawless, and so is Anything for You, best ballads in years and best album songs

I really loved this album as a whole, liked all of the songs, and my fav track is The Show Must go On <3

mi|kshake 1st May 2015 08:33 PM

Yeah I was expecting to find the "yeah yeah" part a bit cringey and annoying but I actually love it (and the background vocals "the show must go on!"

RealLight 4th May 2015 08:18 AM

a Bell Lovely intro, i liked it since i first listened to it;
WARNING Love the beats, love the intro, i just think that last, almost hidden "yeah" at the last chorus sounds so out of place;
NO FUTURE I only liked the intro, it felt like something epic was coming, and then... .-. I also liked when she started singing the "Me ga atte, ho ni fure" part, but just the first one, when she went to the second time, the beats increased and it got annoying;
Anything for You Althought it is VERY emotional, after the first chorus it starts to get boring. I liked when it hit around the 6:10 part, that's when she stoped singing e.e and i also liked it's lyrics;
Last minute I don't know what to say, i just can't click with this song;
Zutto... I didn't like it when i first listened but i feel now we can live in peace, i just can't like the chorus;
Out of control It reminded of call/Letter, but the difference is that i liked this one;
Story I loved this when i first listened, i thought it was a cute song, even if it isn't that epic. I didn't listen it for the next few days, then i listened it again and it's my favorite track of the album (alongside MOWY);
The GIFT Same as Zutto..., although TG's chorus is a 50/50 case;
The Show Must Go On Snowy kiss 2.0, I liked it when i heard the preview, but it changed when i listened it full, the "Yeah yeah yeah" gets on my nerves;
Walk Same as Last minute;
Movin' on without you LOVED it when i heard the preview on MS, loved it even more when i heard the full thing and nothing has changed since then :yes;
Tell All I like it better than the original version, but still not a favorite.

Top favorites: Story, Movin' on without you
Really like: a Bell, WARNING
Can live with: Zutto..., Out of control, The GIFT, Tell All
Nope: NO FUTURE, Anything for You, Last minute, The Show Must Go On, Walk
