Kumi lip syncs? I mean I know she doesn't physically HAVE to because I know she can sing but the more you know. It must be due to heavy routines right?

HURRICANE was obviously lipsynched, but her dancing looks so cool and she looks so hot that I don't care.

I wanna watch dance in the rain's performance so bad! It looks really cool.

The only thing that bothers me is her hair, she didn't retouch it for the DVD concert >_< (pastel hair colors are pretty much the only ones that dark roots showing bother me, and that's her case) but, oh well, who cares, the concert looks amazing anyway :heart

With HURRICANE I believe it's because:
1. it's new and there wasn't much time to incorporate it in the setlist ( as she shot the PV before the focus certainly lies on the dance choreography)
2. the dance routine is quite heavy
3. the whole show requires a lot of energy from her as there is a lot of dancing and stunts apart from singing.

As far as I know, the only moments that it were lip-synch (imo) are:

We all know the girl can sing, so we all understand when she's dancing like crazy and doing her best for the choreography, and decides to lip-sync a little. We are not in denial like Ayu's fanbase.

@maze: The footage is usually a raw cut of the DVDs footage, so the DVD will probably have the same color issues. With Bon Voyage Tour report footage, we got the colorful footage we have on the DVD. :)

Yeah, I watched that HURRICANE preview video again and I think you people were right about Kuu's lip syncing but I don't care. At least she doesn't do it all the time.

Don't need to compare performances. Different styles and different performers.

Damn Kumi is really giving me P!nk teas with all these acrobatics. I may have to really watch this concert!! I know kumi can serve me hot vocals (song selection questionable but I like her voice) but an epic show too? I'm sold.

I'm worried that Kuu tried to pack too much into the show. Piano, guitar, tissue dance. I'm worried she was just mediocre at all of them. Previews aren't enough for judgement. I would rather she had picked one and excelled at it.

Actually she didn't really lip-sync the whole song during Crank the Bass.
They used auto-tune, but she sang it live.

I don't think that Kuu is trying to excel in everything.
She mentioned before in one of the interviews that she always tries to do new various things; especially those which haven't been done by other artists (especially in Japan). So fans can see and enjoy a lot of faces/styles from Koda Kumi.
I'll be damn bored if she does tissue dance in every concert..

She didn't sound that great (quite off-key) during dance in the rain while doing the tissue dance (damn, my heart stopped when she did that fall-like stunt!) but she sang it live (yes, LIVE)

Kuu has always looked better at that tissue dance thing than Ayu. For Kuu it comes more naturally, and it amazes me more when Kuu does it. That's all I'm gonna say about it. :D

I gotta watch her concerts from 2012 to 2014 before this tour is released. I dunno what happened and why I lost my interest in watching concerts but I gotta get a grip and have a Kuu concert marathon asap. But first I need to get rid of the killer flu that attacked me, lol.

What I love the most about the last tours is her interest in playing instruments. If Kenji is the one behind her interest on playing drums and guitar, I gotta thank him SO MUCH. Even if she won't a professional, and given she has probably started learning these "too late" she probably won't be, it adds so much to her artistic side. Damn, I love this woman :laugh

@Lee^ChaN: As I said early, around 70 / 60 % of the song was lip-synch imo, but it had some live moments as well. :)

Nice pic, hopefully it's a new shoot but I'm afraid it's a leftover from the SoL shooting, the hairstyle seems to be the same :/
