I would say it's jealousy too. Let's compare the sales of both Ayu and Eason's recent album domestic CD sales.

Eason Chan - Get a Life - sold a total of around 40,000 copies
Ayu - SECRET - sold an astonishing 650,000 copies

And I checked Eason's rranking in Taiwan and none of his albums made the top 20. ROFL. On the other hand, Ayu's had topped the charts with all her albums.

i think that comment would not affect ayu so much, because ayu is a profesional
singer, maybe she even doesn't know who the hell eason chan is. and ayu will ends her tour outside japan perfectly.
plus, ayu has us, ayufans who will always support her career.

but i'm still demanding that butthead-eason to apologize to ayu, and he MUST!!

Reading eason's article initially and watching his video has a rather big difference. I realised in the video, he's alot more polite. The article made him out to be much more rude. Yes he stands on his opinion that he thinks ayu lipsynchs because of the massive dancing. But in a way he also tried to defend ayu that lipsyching is not a big problem even Michael Jackson (the King of Pop) does it.

If they are so sure that she lipsynched, all the more I want to the live video myself and judge by myself. That's if they are ever gonna release it or something.

And hmm, I don't think ayu will drop her future asia tours just because of this, she don't have to disappoint all her fans because of one eason guy. So don't worry about that =)

Adding Taiwan and HK, it'd be much more dramatic. Eason has no chance to be against this queen.

he only gave her 87 points...who is he to grade her? Are his concerts better in every way? can he even dance? and that goes to all the other artists who accused her.

Only those who seen her concerts and listens to her music would know how great she is. Her sound equipments are high end stuff and if you can get sound cancelling device in mp3 player headphones, its possible to have a good mic and sound equipments with well trained staff controlling them.

LOL, we can obviously see why japan is considered as the second biggest music industry, he is nothing compare to ayu and other japanese singer!

Even if he sounded polite, to say that he fell asleep during the concert and that he left in the middle of the concert is outrageous. As a singer himself, he should know very well that it was horrendously rude to fall asleep in a concert. Eason's comments about Ayu has reached almost every part of the chinese entertainment world. It's headline news. I know, it's crazy but the media is so quick to jump on news on Ayu. I wouldn't be surprised if some people who aren't familiar with Ayu are already calling her the lip-synch diva.

I'm chinese and I have watched HK awards and such and 99% of the songs that he performs are BALLADS. Boring ballads songs that sound the same might I add? I doubt he has any songs that requires dancing. Never seen him dance before and I don't think I want to.

OMG! must be those stupid paparazi again..why do they always like to take those sort of pictures? they had already pissed off their own hongkong artist...why must they do shame to themself......

well, let's hope the next time during his concert, the people will be polite to sleep through it. :)

oh yes Im chinese too, born in HK. Ive seen him perform in music shows, award shows, and big events. I also seen some of his concert performances too. His songs are popular especially for ppl to sing at K. From all the songs I heard from him, I cant think of one that is not ballad...and when he sings, he doesnt do much other than sings.

If he starts dancing, hes gonna do more demage than just simply fall off the stage and hurt his testicles like he did last time. Wait a sec...is that why he fell? coz he was moving?

LOL, I am just hoping this won't get to her much, as it's obvious he's a plain moron^^.And she isn't the only one who can dance and sing well (most of the time), I mean BoA doesn't lyp-sinc her performances in Japan, nor Ku does, and we all know that they can sing and dance at the same time without making mistakes, it's all about practice, and if anyone has watched BoA's Documentary, remember the part when she first came to Japan and was told that she has to dance and sing live in a TV show XD, what I am trying to say is that after 10 years, Ayu surely knows how to handle it.

Well, we really shouldn't be so mean to this dude or the other artists. We really don't know if she did Lip-synced or not because most of us were not there. To some of those people it is just what they probable heard, but we really won't know till we see some TV footage.



I do know that Ayu has Lip-synced once before. It was for a live performance of SEASONS. I guess she was sick or something on this day. Lip-synching isn't a big deal really. A lot of singer do it. It helps a lot during fast/upbeat dance songs.

Okay for people who did not understand chinese, here's what eason said in the video ayu_fan929 posted.

"To me, lipsynching is actually part of a performance. But Hong Kong has this perception that if you lipsyc, it tends to portray that you can't sing. But seriously, even Michael Jackson does it. I think this is more accurate than the article (reporters rephrased it) since it's directly translated from what he said in the video though I do not guarantee you my translation is that good, I tried to make it close to what he had mentioned in chinese and hope you understand what I translated.

About the sleeping part, the video ayu_desu posted is in cantonese which I do not understand. But she kindly translated that he dozed off at certain parts due to couple of sleepless nights, and that it's his own fault, not ayu's fault.

Initially, I was really mad at him >_< But now, I kinda don't think he meant it in a harsh and bashful manner but was just stating what he thinks (which might not be right). I guess I really wanna watch the live myself to convince and confirm myself that ayu did not lip-sych. =)
