^ Yeah, her shirt is nice.

And seriously, I still can't believe it.

It really doesn't feel like it was that long at all.

Melon Panda 29th July 2008 07:54 PM

She's finally wearing COLOR.

That good news aside, the tracks' titles for her next single sound promising.

Zachery! 29th July 2008 07:58 PM

Hey, is there any word on exactly what types of songs they will be?

I'd really love something as good as Ai no Uta or Tashika ni.

GRACE 29th July 2008 08:13 PM

^We've heard Tegami already. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jFd8oa-1ms

And this is exactly why I'd rather have a piano version rather than a "strings" version or whatever the single had announced >.> Listen to that! Listen to the beauty of Angela and a piano!

Zachery! 29th July 2008 08:36 PM

OMG it's SOOO pretty and the lyrics are sooo pretty also!

I'm absolutely in love with the song!

GRACE 29th July 2008 08:48 PM

^I know, I can't wait for a high quality version of it~~~ Though, I always have believed that Angela sounds better live than in the studio (Case and point: Sakurairo)

truehappiness 31st July 2008 08:11 AM

You know, you don't even know if the Tegami track is like 99% piano or not yet, so I wouldn't be saying anything yet.

She's never released a mostly piano A-side. HOME had a bunch of guitar and percussion, Kokoro no Senshi had a lot of percussion, Kiss Me Goodbye had percussion all over the place. This Love was loaded with strings. Sakurairo revolved more around strings(which is why I like the live version better), Kodoku no Kakera was similar to This Love in it's use of strings, and Tashika ni was a percussion stronghold.

Therefore, it's logical to assume Tegami won't be either. Hell, even Rain got re-made to include loads of percussion. The last time she's ever made a major studio effort and used nothing but the piano was ONE(which was INCREDIBLE <3). Angela's work seems to be focusing LESS on the piano, TODAY had a lot more focus on percussion...

I'm calling it as I see it. Just because she preformed it live with just a piano means NOTHING, her lives usually just consist of piano versions.

Based on the kind of song Tegami is, I'd bet it's likely that it'll be similar to This Love or Kodoku no Kakera with it's use of strings.

03 Still Fighting It (ベン・フォールズのカバー) <---?

GRACE 1st August 2008 05:44 AM

^It may be indicating how the song is a cover, but I'm unsure.

Zachery! 1st August 2008 06:04 AM

Maybe it's like, a choir version (like alan's Natsukashii Mirai ~longing future~ choir version) or possibly is that the intrumental?

GRACE 1st August 2008 06:18 AM

^I remember reading somewhere that it was a cover song, but I'm not sure where I read it >.>

mimika 1st August 2008 08:05 AM

She is mixed right? she doesn't look japanese at all

GRACE 1st August 2008 04:18 PM

^I believe so. All I really know for sure is that she's from Hawaii, right?

greggerz189 1st August 2008 04:52 PM

Ben Fohls Cover?

dddaiyamondo 1st August 2008 04:54 PM

Yes, she's from Hawai'i and she actually is from near where I live. And yes, she is half.

Yoake 1st August 2008 05:16 PM

Nice cover. I'm glad she'll release a new single^^

ayumisrael 1st August 2008 05:21 PM
