But I do think she's right. Asian Kung-fu Generation's last album only sold 120k in total. And that's about 1.5 years ago. Kana's last album sold 190k and she's been moving upwards ever since.

Let's hope that this time she actually has some great first week sales, instead of another slow-but-steady seller like Love ONE.

Of course, I'm a fan of both artists so I really don't care which gets the no.1

I am really considering buying this.
It's funny, I hated almost all of her first album, and her voice was very unpolished at first. But it seems she's improved in both her voice and music quality; I've really loved her last few singles. I think she has so much potential, and I think she deserves the rising popularity. :yes

I've yet to see any of her videos, though, so I need to do that, to see if I might want the DVD version. >_<'

They keep re-stockig the CDs, probably this will sell out fast too hopefully (it's good for her sales:D) she deserves it <3 I ordered both versions 1st press :)

I think that the PVs for the first album were better, while the second batch were less than amazing, imo. Well, I guess it depends on what you like in a PV, but for me the first album had a lot of fun elements and were different, while the ones from the new album were really similar.

Everything about her is still kinda tame and same-ish for me : Same photoshoots, all mid-tempo ballad singles, kinda boring PVs with her just sitting/standing there singing. But I don't think it's a bad thing - yet. She's only just become popular and I guess they want to play it safe for now. When she's older, more experienced I'm sure she'll try to branch out and become more herself.

She's already begun experimenting with her b-sides, after all. god I already can't wait to see what she might bring in the future!

^ I agree. She is playing it safe, it seems. That's the only thing I'm waiting for from her - I want some more variety, and something that really stands out. But like you said, she's still new, so she's got some more time before we can get too upset about it. ^^' Her style is different from her debut, though. She was more pop and kinda dance-y at first, and now she's more R&B. Not a drastic change or a sell-out or anything, but enough to notice. I think both suits her really well, though.

Okay, I just went and watched most of her videos, and they're pretty meh, especially the latest few. :\ So that saves me five dollars. XP
