AKP bugs the hell out of me these days. They're so two-faced, launching this whole promotion cycle getting groups to advertise them, then still printing the gossipy untrue rubbish, fake rumours, *****stirring with fangroups etc.

When I first got into KPOP I thought it was good but it's just as bad as any tabloid newspaper....... I usually drop past Ningin and Soompi to catch up on news but is there anything else more reputable than AKP I can go to (aside from omana on LJ?)??

murasakinohana 31st October 2011 03:54 PM

Kinda random but, when do you guys think they'll release their next Japanese single?? :)

terra 31st October 2011 03:59 PM

^ I guess no one can answer XD
Since they're promoting on The Boys and touring, then they could comeback with a repackage...maybe next year imo

What did they do apart from say that people were mad about their behaviour, showed the bhaviour, and asked what their audiences opinion was.... i think you just don't like anything negative being posted about SNSD not so much that akp isnt a reliable source....

I had decided not to admit this when it started happening because I was embarrassed and ashamed, but "The Boys" (Korean Version) has grown on me super duper hard. I love it now. I don't know why. I don't know what happened. But I have been listening to it non stop. Repeatedly. It's my favorite song from the Album now.

I was disgusted with the song when it first came out. I'm sure the Teaser had a lot to do with that. Perhaps I would have liked the song from the start had the Teaser not held false promises.

On the flip side, I'm sure following the song from the beginning with all of the Teasers, are there normally this many teasers for a song, helped build a connection to it before it was even fully released that I wasn't even aware of that led me to falling for the song.

Still sucks though that I can't listen to it on blast.

The girls have been so overworked; they have every right to be tired. Is everyone expecting them to be all smiles throughout the entire thing? I dunno, I may not know much about showbiz and stuff, but I just think that's unfair to the girls if everyone is expecting them to be perfect all the time. They're tired, they shouldn't be expected to be perky 24/7; that'll just exhaust them more. Poor girls. :( I want to give them a hug, and send them on a nice vacation.

AyusakiFan 31st October 2011 11:47 PM

While it's understandable that the girls would feel overworked and tired considering all of the promotion they've done for their comeback as well as everything regarding SMTOWN, in my opinion, Taeyeon's expressions do come across a bit unprofessional, particularly in the first and third photographs. For me, those expressions read more of being bored and ready to go rather than sick and tired. Yoona looks quite out of it throughout the pictures while Taeyeon only looks like she may not be feeling well in the fourth shot. Regardless of what's really going on (we personally don't know how they truly feel so we can't definitively speak on anything, only make observations), I hope all of the girls get some well needed rest soon.

She's right though. AKP has been like that for awhile now. It's definitely not just with SNSD; they do it anytime there's a controversial story. They're practically prompting the readers to argue in the comments section. That's why I've stayed clear of AKP for more than half a year now; they're ****.

I can certainly "take" criticism of SNSD. I love them loads just like I love Ayu, although I don't see any of them as "perfect" 24/7. All my idols make mistakes, they're human after all...

I see articles like this on AKP not just about SNSD but all KPOP stars. They write inflammatory articles like "X from Y criticised by Z for not doing 123" and post comments from "netizens" with no source. If there is a source it's only the one, not proving in any way that the article is truely legitimate "news".

Because they advertise themselves as a bridge between Korean and English news articles, you'd expect them to write reputable things, with sources, examples, names, links to the original article or excerpts of the Korean text so speakers can verify that yes, this article is legitimate. But you rarely see that if ever on the attack articles.

If I were a reporter I'd include screencaps, translations, sources etc to ensure my audience got as full a picture as possible. KPOP fanwars are the most bitter, hate-filled dramafests I have ever seen on the internet, AKP knows this so if they're going to parade themselves as this great, amazing and reliable news source, they owe it to their readers to ensure articles that are undoubtedly used in these fanwars are reliable and certified from at least 2 legitimate news sources.

AKP is good for quick news but it's certainly not reliable or trustworthy given its size and overall influence on the Western KPOP fandom. When I first started getting into KPOP that site was very influential to me, it is to a huge number of new fans, so it should really try harder to present fairer articles that don't stir up trouble :(

Are any Aussie AHSers hoping to go to the Sydney KPOP festival? I've got a spare Gold and Bronze ticket that I'm selling over on Soshified: http://soshified.com/forums/topic/61...st__p__4459818 If you're interested!! Gold is going for $89, Bronze for $50!

^ So jealous that you're going to see the girls live :weep .. I really hope I get to see them when I go to Korea next month *-*.

About the interview .. Yoona and Taeyeon were both sick that day on top of all the things they had to do during their stay in NY .. I bet the netizens wouldn't be able to handle being in their shoes for one day. Doing all these concerts aboard while still promoting in Korea is just crazy :no

edit: Sunny is Guest DJing in a radio show, she looks adorable and you can watch it here :heart : http://soshified.com/pages/videostre...channel_hiitsu

AyUmIXx 1st November 2011 01:36 PM

netizens mostly are like haters lmao~
and i have this love & hate thing with AKP.
anyway remember when AKP reported that Sica was going back to Korea first after SM TOWN LIVE? but it was taken down lols.

they also did to TVXQ & JYJ before, posting about the possible comeback of JYJ into SM and TVXQ coz there's a rehearsal video of Maximum song using the 5 voices. the title of the post is just so wrong. They should really make right titles to every posts before ppl misunderstanding

so news for the day!!
