Sparrow has the deepest lyrics out of the new songs, I think. It shows her doubts about choosing to try new music styles: will my currrent fans dislike it and leave? etc. I've translated it~ (one line confused me so left it blank.)

I really like Delight. It's not the life-changing masterpiece I was secretly hoping it would be, but it's a very nice album with no bad songs. Delight and Hikari e remain amazing and Sparrow and LOUD join the Awesome Team. 321 I don't really like (there's something weird about the chorus) and My Best Friend is so... filler, couldn't they have made it a hidden track or something. The rest of the songs are good, no complaints there. I just wish the album were a bit longer; with only 11 tracks, two of which I tend to skip, it just feels like it ends too abruptly.

Yeah, 11 tracks...isn't that a bit too low for an album? Usually we have 14, like her first two albums.

I finally listened the full album. I had lost interest in her but this album makes me want to follow her again. I like that she's trying new styles. Delight, Sayonara, LOUD, Sparrow and Hikari He are my favorites :heart
And I really love the way her voice sounds in the English part of LOUD's chorus for some reason :laugh EDIT: I bought the album~ (the joys of temporarily living in Japan ;) ). I made some quick photos of the booklet: Spoiler:

It's a good album, i'm glad she wants to try different things. I wonder why she doesn't wanna include Smile, it's a nice song too

I really like this album more than the previous two (both of which I didn't really get into). Delight (the song) is SO intense, the instruments chosen were so effective and catchy. It's impossible not to remember that song. The other new songs were very good too, but I was especially impressed by the production that went into the song Delight. Going to re-listen and order this. |
New song "Kiss you" will be opening theme song for the TV anime "Gin no Saji - Silver Spoon," which will begin airing on Fuji TV's noitaminA block on July 11.
