Tomorrow's live broadcast of THE MUSIC DAY Ongaku no Chikara will last for close to 13 hours . For this year , the show commemorates its 60th anniversary since its launch .

For this year , THE MUSIC DAY Ongaku no Chikara will be hosted by ARASHI's Sakurai Sho .

Just like NTV's annual telethon 24-Hour Television , THE MUSIC DAY Ongaku no Chikara has also something planned in their annual special music program . The broadcast network plans to hold a survey that is related to the theme of the year , masterpieces chosen from the survey will be introduced .

This year's theme will be "The masterpieces that encouraged Japanese people" & it will be broadcast live for close to 13 hours , which will be the longest music program to ever air . The main venue is the Makuhari Messe & many great artists will gather there to perform . Archive footage from the past 60 years will also be broadcast tomorrow .

According to yesterday's STAFF BLOG that was updated inside DAIGO MOBILE , DAIGO is scheduled to perform with someone (wasn't stated who in person in the staff blog entry) after 9pm+ Japan time .

At least DAIGO wouldn't be performing at 3.20am+ unlike last week's live broadcast of TBS's Ongaku no Hi xD

Anyway looking forward to tomorrow's THE MUSIC DAY Ongaku no Chikara !

NEVER LAND's Green Story is the only new song included in Fri night's setlist seeing that for the 1st 6 days of the tour , there were no changes to the setlist .

I love Green Story as it's 1 of my fave NEVER LAND tracks so seeing it in the setlist , it was awesome to boot . DAIGO & SHINPEI personally attended Fri night's sold out show [as what they wrote on their Twitter + blog respectively , let alone for what DAIGO mentioned in the team brz FC blog Fri night] & it was nice for them to support their fellow band member seeing that Fri was AKIHIDE's birthday as well :D

The final last day of AKIHIDE 1st Live Tour 2013 "Amber" will conclude today in less than an hour's time at Nagoya's ElectricLadyLand which's the same venue that AKIHIDE performed on Day 3 / 20th June of his solo tour :)

DAIGO was 1 of the many artistes that participated in NTV's THE MUSIC DAY Ongaku no Chikara in which just like last Sat's TBS's Onagku no Hi , they're both really long live broadcast music shows .

Except in this case , THE MUSIC DAY Ongaku no Chikara started airing yesterday from 10.30am until 10.54pm Japan time . DAIGO performed around 9.20pm+ or so , alongside with Kanjani∞'s Nishikido Ryo & THE ALFEE's Takamizawa Toshihiko .

Each of them played the guitar & sang The ALFEE's 17th single Hoshizora no Distance (星空のディスタンス) . Hoshizora no Distance is considered as The ALFEE's signature song .

TOKIO's bassist Yamaguchi Tatsuya was the 1 whom requested the song to be performed because he sang it in karaoke with MABO .

And seeing DAIGO playing the electric guitar while singing was so cool ! It was a rare treat since for obvious reasons , he doesn't play the guitar in BREAKERZ which he rather leave that aspect to both AKIHIDE & SHINPEI to handle :D

Let alone he looked so gorgeous too *__*
