INKT by (Tanaka Koki) To Release 1st Album

INKT is releasing their debut album on November 08, 2014.

Tanaka Koki, a singer and actor and a former member of KAT-TUN, formed a rock band under the name of KOKI, and they launched their official website on October 1st. Then, they announced about the release date of their 1st album, which is on the week of KOKI's birthday.

The album contains 10 tracks, and the limited edition includes a bonus DVD with two music videos each for "Trigger" and "Zutto" as well as making-of + interview for "Trigger." Comes with a 20-page booklet.

Trigger sounds not bad even though it's hard to shake off the feeling that it's essentially Tanaka alone now without the rest of KAT-TUN backing him up

I'm curious to hear if the other songs in their debut album will be good . If they're , then I will consider to buy their 1st album

Tanaka Koki's band INKT to hold their first event

Earlier this month, it was revealed that former KAT-TUN member Tanaka Koki's rock band INKT have officially started their activities. At this time, they have announced that they will hold their first event 'INKT Fan Meeting Vol.1' on November 6.

The event will be held somewhere in Tokyo for fan club members only. While the venue has not been disclosed at this time, it's expected to hold over 1,000 people.

Two days after the event, the band will release their debut album "INKT" (November 8). The album will also be released digitally via iTunes Store, along with two other songs called "Zutto" and "Nobody knows" which will only be available in digital form.

Vocalist KOKI expressed, "Rather than a proper stage, it will be more like a debut stage, but I'm already looking forward to the day we will finally be able to stand and sing on stage. To everyone who have waited for us, I will work even harder to get things to you even if it's a second faster."

INKT officially formed in November of last year. The 5 members who make up the band are KOKI (Vo), also known as Tanaka Koki, mACKAz (B / ex. HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR), SASSY (Dr / ex. HIGH and MIGHTY COLOR), Kei (G), and kissy (Key).

Akanishi Jin has revealed the PV for his new song "Mi Amor" which is the title track for his new mini album that will be released on November 12.

According to Akanishi, he wrote the lyrics to "Mi Amor" after composing the music. "Words such as conflict, love, shooting star, and wish came to mind, and it became a natural and abstract love song. In this song, there are no lyrics in the hook. It's unusual in J-POP where feelings are expressed through the track itself. It's a song that fuses EDM and POP in a new approach," he explained.

The PV features Akanishi covered in body tattoos playing a guitar that emits laser beams. Akanishi, who also took part in producing the PV, commented, "I felt that it was necessary to incorporate one thing with impact in the MUSIC VIDEO. As a result of thinking about the song's theme and other things associated with the track, a contradictory guitar came to mind. Then, thinking about the contradictory guitar, I decided to make an original laser guitar that combines a retro acoustic guitar and a futuristic laser beam. I am satisfied with the results, so please pay attention to it!"

Tanaka Koki's Band INKT Performs Live For 1st Time Ahead Of Album Release

1,500 fans watched on as ex-KAT-TUN member Koki Tanaka performed live with his new band INKT for the first time.

INKT performed 3 songs of the band's self-titled debut album during its live showcase. The 3 songs performed were "Trigger", the album's lead single, "Zutto" and "Nobody knows".

As the band entered the stage for its debut perform, the crowded cheered loudly, setting the energy level high from the start. After a head-bang opening performance, Tanaka laughed with satisfaction, telling the audience, "I'm not tired anymore after that song."

Interspersed among its performances, the band took its chance to interact with its fans for the first time. Band members all had messages for the audience, including a promise to continue making fun music for them to enjoy in the future.

"I want you guys to all come out to our live shows. I want to be able to do this again soon!," band member Kei said.

INKT releases its debut album on November 8.

NTV reveals artist line up for 'Best Artist 2014'
