HEAVEN, Ring and LOVELAND are her best albums, but the others (specially Rose) are so so so good to :heart

OK so since nobody was checking for that last single, maybe she's moving on and we'll get an awesome EDM track for spring. Bring it Miliyah!

Chiharo 4th February 2015 05:32 PM

I sincerely hope we do not get an EDM track. xD

Utena 4th February 2015 07:53 PM

I don't know what you're talking about :p I'm in love with Shonen Shojo ♥♥♥

Chiharo 4th February 2015 08:59 PM

Yep, Shounen Shoujo is one of her best A-sides she released recently.

I wouldn't mind if Miliyah made another song like BYE BYE. That song is her magnum opus tbh

That song is definitely god-tier status.

tokyoxjapanxfan 5th February 2015 05:42 PM

Agreed. God-tier!

Hope someone else thinks Kamisama is a song sent from above, a musical and lyrical masterpiece

Utena 5th February 2015 11:57 PM

^ I love it so bad too, it's so gooood

chocopockymaster 6th February 2015 12:34 AM

I would call Kamisama god-tier status as well, but that would be a horrendous pun. :P

I'm watching the Loveland tour right now...yikes. I'm three songs in and about to give up. I had never seen any of her concerts before so I wasn't sure what to expect, but this is just painful. I can't tell if it's the weird-ass choreography, or her complete lack of stage presence...or both maybe? I have endless admiration for her voice and her songwriting but I just don't think she's a natural performer.

Utena 23rd March 2015 06:18 PM

^ I was kind of disappointed. Honestly, I thought Miliyah was REALLY REALLY awkward in that tour (except maybe the middle section with Kamisama and the medley, even though she had done much better performances in the past). It's my least favorite tour in YEARS, even though I loved LOVELAND... I'm kinda glad I didn't spend a fortune to go see that tour as I had originally planned to.
TRUE LOVERS and M BEST were much much much better. I would recommend watching the M BEST tour if you truly want to make up your mind, it's my personal favorite, everything was ON POINT (setlist, outfits, stage, voice, entertainment, props, and so on....) and she was MUCH more charismatic there.

MBEST tour

TRUE LOVERS tour
Spoiler:

There are a bunch more on youtube if you want to check them out. The choreography are a bit stiff sometimes but she's no dancer so that never really bothered me.

chocopockymaster 27th March 2015 01:59 PM

omg...that's like watching a whole different person. :shakehead I wonder why she was so awkward during the LOVELAND tour??? Whatever the case, I'm glad you didn't waste your money. :laugh I think I'll give the M BEST tour a shot at some point in the future, but for now I'm still scarred so I'll wait a while. :P

thinkingoutloud89 28th March 2015 03:18 AM

I hated LOVELAND Tour except for a few moments...tbqh LOVELAND was a weak album so i did not expect much.
As for tours, I don't think TRUE LOVERS was good either. M BEST and HEAVEN are the best

happiholic★ 30th March 2015 06:12 AM

I honest cannot watch her live tours. I find them boring. Plus, I feel sometimes she tries too hard.

Actually, I was thinking about it, and there are times when I wonder of she has a personality. I can't recall her on too many variety shows. So, from what I do see, she seems to take herself very seriously.

Utena 30th March 2015 09:57 AM

She's a very sweet and kinda shy/reserved person, but really hardworking at the same time.

ayu_ready? 30th March 2015 02:09 PM

I liked her earlier tours tho, not the last two years

Chiharo 30th March 2015 06:49 PM

I like her Diamond Princess and TOKYO STAR tours the best. I couldn't even finish watching her tours after those.

thinkingoutloud89 31st March 2015 02:35 PM

I think you are not so much into Miliyah then. i think her live performances are among the best in Japan, even on par with Koda Kumi (Miliyahs voice is better than Kumis, its less nasaly and she does not have the engrish problem). Miliyah is much more feeling it than just performing, but you have to like her music from start to finish and her weird emo persona to enjoy her fully.
