of course it will...

Pieces_of_SEVEN 25th December 2014 01:46 PM

lol why wouldn't all three of these songs be on the album...

Gustavopc 25th December 2014 10:24 PM

If she even put songs like RED LINE, decision and Will on the albums, I do not see why she would left any of these out of her next album

Cute lil affair? Are you serious? Last minute is the best song she's done since Letter. Of course the whole single will be on the album. This is Ayu after all.

I keep going back and forth on whether I like this single or not... :S

I like the premise of it but then there are some little things here and there throughout the songs that gets on my nerves. It's as if the quality just isn't as good as I should hope...

Aside from that, Walk is my most favorite of the three. I like her voice the best there and it somehow sounds more complete to me...

I would have agreed with you, but the mixing on Last Minute is just terrible. I cut Love again a lot of slack. That album sounded quite cheap in parts but it wasn't that unbearable and I quite liked it in the end. But Last Minute is an entirely different story. It would have been the ayu epic of the year but that breakdown with the drums and guitar is just garbage. It's intolerable. I can say that I have really great headphones and that breakdown sounds like junk in them. It sounds like the quality dipped to like 64kbps and you ripped it from YouTube using some bootleg website you googled and clicked to page 394 or something and found the website to convert it there. It's quite unpolished and I'm really disappointed. Everything was going well until the breakdown. Ayu sounded epic and I loved her voice. Then boom headshot. The other two songs are good though. They're standard affair but sometimes you want the old faithful. In the end though, I'd rather listen to kana nishino/yui on repeat than Last Minute. What am I saying I'd rather listen to Last Minute. The junk breakdown is more epic than any of their songs.

...o______o

Letter is such a random song to pick for that tho

adantatu2 27th December 2014 05:52 AM

I can't even remember how Letter sounds O_O

Zeke. 27th December 2014 05:58 AM

Yeah, Letter is SERIOUSLY just as atrocious as Call.

pimenta 27th December 2014 11:15 AM

Letter is my favorite song in Party Queen, so beautiful.

Last Minute on the other hand I guess I'll only listen to live versions of it (the MS SUPER LIVE performance was amazing), the mixing on the studio version is just terrible.

njanjayrp 27th December 2014 12:27 PM

Letter is a very emotional and nostalgic song. One of her best in the recent years.
Saying it's atrocious doesn't mean much when it comes from the people who stanned for Days. Her most generic ballad to date.

This single is so good :D

The more I hear the songs the better it gets :love

tenshi no hane 27th December 2014 02:04 PM

lol my first thought was "Letter? That's not Ayu's but Utada's song."

Zutto has grown on me. I still love Last Minute but I still wish the rock part wasn't so loud (is that was you guys mean when you're talking about 'bad mixing'?)

Generic isn't really bad by default, and lbr Letter is her most generic Joan Osborne "What If God Was One of Us" ripoff to date anyway. I mean she's only got about 80 million of them at this point.

Coelacanth 27th December 2014 03:58 PM

wow, different strokes for different folks. Letter is fantastic. I've always viewed it is as the 2012 version of 'immature' (also one of my favorite songs). raw, introspective, minimalist, nostalgic. much prefer this style than the recent wave of disingenuously overproduced "epic" songs like Return Road and Last minute that are desperately trying to recreate the magic of songs like Free & Easy and Memorial address.

don't even care that it rips the Joan Osbourne song, it doesn't sound like it in any other part besides the guitar riff anyway.

Toniayu123 27th December 2014 05:02 PM

I love almost everything Ayu does so I can't complain :laugh But I really liked Letter back in 2012, it is not her best song though IMO

tsumekaze_ 27th December 2014 05:05 PM

I love letter. It's raw, it's nostalgic, and the lyrics resonate deeply with me.

They're both my favorite Ayu driving songs. :weep

I'm all for nostalgia, my friend even teased me and said for my birthday I should get a giant back-piece tattoo that reads MR. NOLSTALGIA, lol. But, Letter to me didn't sound like an ayu song at all. It felt like it was meant for another artist or something. Just like call is such a Michelle Branch reject from the 2000's. The b-side Life on the other hand, I truly adore. THAT's nostalgic and true Ayu.

love in music 27th December 2014 07:01 PM

call and Letter are pretty good songs. Still, Last minute is on a whole other level :P
I kind of hope Last minute gets an orchestra version.. could wind up being pretty kickass.
