Marika , what do you think are the chances of the new tracks in SUMMER of LOVE being included in a future Kuu compilation album ? :confused

On 1 hand I'm considering to buy it but on the other , I have doubts cos I don't know if the new songs + PVs will be included in a future 15th anniversary compilation album :x

Chances are pretty high, that at least one new song of SoL will stay exclusively on SoL. Probably NO ONE ELSE BUT YOU. I actually think you can treat it as a single in that regard.

I've asked the same question over on JPC forums some days ago and pretty much everbody was sure those three new songs won't be on another album.

I guess if the content is it worth for you, go ahead. The price isn't that high and most people I saw are really happy about having so much PVs on BluRay in good quality.

guys, discussing about sales is so 2009, most of jpop acts dont care about it anymore. promotion is awful for everyone. kuu has her fanbase established and I dont think she wants to gain new fans, otherwise she'd still releasing ero-kakkoii, ero-kawaii stuff. she had her peak already, let her do what she wants now. enjoy it or bye, easy like that.

I actually cant find another artist with such talent, as complete as her in Japan. I tried but NO luck. XD

I think I will hold back to buy SUMMER of LOVE because if Kuu decides to release another compilation to celebrate her 15th anniversary , what if the new material will be re-included again ? :x

But of course if that doesn't happen all the more it will be better & I'm relieved avex Taiwan has made both CD & CD + DVD of SUMMER of LOVE . That way if I buy the CD + DVD edition , I wouldn't feel that bad

On 1 hand if I want to experience the full Summer experience from Kuu , I rather buy her past Summer singles & not SUMMER of LOVE :x

About TV promotion, I guess it's just not a priority for Kuu now, she's just finished touring through Japan and Asia and now probably is reherasing for a-nation. She shot both videos in a day, one after the other, so if she didn't have time for shooting this, imagine for TV hahaha

Yeah I was scrolling down the comments on that link you posted earlier on , it's a bit shocking when I read it

They wrote that prior to the release of 4 TIMES , the PVs are not in HQ mode . It's only the PVs in the 4 TIMES era that're HQ onwards :x

Random comment, but I have to say, after I saw Kumi live at Osaka, I've found love towards her again! It was gone for years, I only listened some song after universe, didn't really care for dejavu or wasn't really that interested anymore, Japonesque went really past me and first only liked Imagine from Bon Voyage. Didn't like WOML at all first except the cover shoot, and when I booked my Japan trip and wondered should I go see Kumi, then I thought the tour was going to be like Ayu's 15th anni tour with almost classics only I thought that then for sure I'm going to Osaka before Tokyo to see Kumi, since I've liked her since FF X-2.

Then the tour tittle "changed" (wasn't this the case, that it then became more like a promo tour for WOML, when people first thought it was going to be a best of kinda tour?) and I was like oh shit I should go to see Kana instead wherever she performs :'D but decided to go with Kumi.

She is SO CHARISMATIC LIVE, her presens is really something, and she looks INCREDIBLE! I mean really, people really can't hype enough how she looks live! In youtube live videos etc it kinda looks that her head is really big and her expressions look goofy, but live SHE'S REALLY LIKE A SEXGOD Ö___Ö her body confidense shows through! Been listening the recordings I took from the show still, her vocals are so great live, and what a jam BE MY BABY turned out to be for me, it's awesome live!

After that I really started to like WOML as whole and much more of the albums I missed, now been really into her remix albums, Beach Mix is a really great gym album, though they all work great for that!
And I'm really liking her take on Sayonara no Mukougawa <3

All in all really happy I "found" Kuu again after years :)

In a way I didn't like that they combined both EX TAPE & HURRICANE makings together , just like what happened for Like It & WALK OF MY LIFE :x

Oh well at least the making clip this time round for SUMMER of LOVE is actually quite interesting

It's her fragrance, and she has like five different ones, there is also Love Touch, Love Dress and some I don't recall now

My only problem with HURRICANE's PV are the crazy scene cuts, but I'll wait a better quality to judge, because I was only able to watch it on a very small window as I'm working right now kkk

I wish she would include at least HURRICANE in the next album, I'm in love with that song, but chances are really slim imo :(

Great choreography! But this song has the same problem that Dreaming Now has: 5 dancers. Argh. It doesn't make sense. She's the one in the middle ever, then why have one extra dance? Four dancers and Kumi in the middle is the way to go, this is not a girl group with six members. haha

I hope the songs from SUMMER of LOVE stay in this compilation. :)

I believe the new songs on this compilation won't turn up anywhere else. Kumi's pretty reliable when it comes to keeping things like that exclusive. (E.g. Whatchu Waiting On, Asu e..., Get It On, etc.)
