EDIT: apprarently, she's in #6 in the first day

darkswordz 22nd November 2009 04:59 PM

I'm very shocked (in a good sense) to see this single performing well on the chart :D

9>10>11>7>6

Looks like this single will be making it to the top 10 (the last one was royal chocolate flush at #10) despite the early announcement of her upcoming album :P i'm quite positive it will sell more 約束の翼 (currently her best selling post eighth world single) :) this is a good sign for her upcoming album :yes

prussian blue 23rd November 2009 12:44 AM

^no one can beat namie's album, the highest she can take is only #2

darkswordz 23rd November 2009 03:20 AM

^well with misia, getting into the top 3 with a decent sales would be more than enough. If Just Ballade happens to outsell Eighth World, it would quite an achievement for her :D

Fitst 23rd November 2009 04:38 AM

Ya. EIGHth WORlD and ASCENSION sold about the same, didn't they? Around 10k. So if she can beat that it would be great.

TITANIC 23rd November 2009 07:44 AM

Aitakute is really interesting. I have to try her new album

Wow really? :thud Amazing!

I'm so glad this single is doing well. I hope Just Ballade will be a success!

she's still holding onto her top 10 position :)

TITANIC 23rd November 2009 01:04 PM

woow. Aitakute is doing well on chart

prussian blue 23rd November 2009 03:17 PM

ascension sold 127,768
EIGHTH WORLD sold 70,916

i have a feeling this time the album will sold 50k only

Well, misia wasn't that bad with sales. Ascension sold 127,768 as you had mention while Eighth World sold 131,635. Both album sold around 70k in the first week. Consistency is the key here. :yes If Just Ballade is able hold its own against her past two work (which i think is possible due to the success of Aitakute Ima and the upcoming single Hoshi no Yō ni...), it would be a feat for her :P

prussian blue 23rd November 2009 04:25 PM

^oh sorry, i didnt know you're talking about that earlier on :tired

i dont think albums will sold that well recently, since the digital download is soo popular

ストロボ・EdGE 23rd November 2009 11:25 PM

Still #1 @ iTunes Japan.

I wonder if people just don't care about buying her physical CD's and now just opt to buy digitally; that would be good because at least people are obviously still listening and following her.

70K of EIGHT WORLD was the 1st week sales, Tian..
^^

Fitst 24th November 2009 03:52 AM

I'm going to say the new album will sell 300,000. I know its a little high- but there is hope. This is her first major hit in quite some time- plus its being released during the holiday season.

TITANIC 24th November 2009 12:56 PM

she will be so lucky if she can hit 150K

Thank you Pao, trying to find out her Greatest Hits in order to begin :luv2

darkswordz 24th November 2009 01:45 PM

Hmm, good sales but not exactly mind blowing, her highest first week single sales since Sea of Dreams, which is released in 2006 :) hopefully this is a good sign for JB :yes

TITANIC 24th November 2009 02:25 PM

^ still good sales. her best selling single since 2007

Damita 25th November 2009 01:57 AM

Considering it sold more than Miliyah Katou's new single and her album sold very well, I'd say I still have good expectations for the album's sales! If it hits around the same sales Eighth World did I will be happy :)
