SAS doesn't release that often, but if they released now their singles would still hit at least 100k+ and albums would probably be close to the million if not past the million.

Their last releases were on 2006 which means that if they won't release anything until the end of 2009 ayu can outsell them.

B'z - late 80s, Mr. Children officially debuted in the early 90's I think but was formed in the late 80's.

eh can you explain to me what's with the whole 1.75 & 1.7 multiply going on for both singles & albums ?

cos I assume you just count the figures stated on the Oricon site or am I missing something here ?

Oricon's numbers aren't the actual totals, they're just index points. When you multiply them by 1.75 for singles and 1.7, you get a pretty accurate number of the real totals.

It did sell that first week =\
