I listened to KAT-TUN III -QUEEN OF PIRATES- because Karen told me it would be the best to start with. So I listened to the album and I must say I am now a full-fledged KAT-TUN. Couldn't stand them before. IDK why.

MOTHER / FATHER the best thing to happen to my ears since all of Yuna Ito's ballads, Days, and Sparkle. I love this song if I could I would marry it. It is that good. AFFECTION, Karen and Eirynne (it's okay I used your name right? y/n?) seem to like it and because it was Eirynne who got Karen into KAT-TUN and in turn she converted me into a fan I gave it another go.

And I say, it sounds okay. But it can still go die in a fire.

To be honest I though this was going to be a waste of time since they only do like rock music and I hate rock with a passion, save some Ayumi songs and some other songs. But it was a good listen and yeah I'm so buying their fourth album. :yes

oh you'll be surprised . Even though their main forte lies in rock , it's not really 100% rock unlike those full blown out JRock bands like L'arc en Ciel , GLAY , abingdon boys school & of course my boys BREAKERZ

for me what I like about KAT-TUN's that they're able to mix , match rock with other types of music genres & experiment , be it good or bad , final product wise

It helps that I'm a big fan of rock music & it didn't take very long for me to like their music within an instant

anyway Mishelle , you should listen to their past discography now that you're a full KT convert fan lmao , that's what I did after I listened to QoP

Yeah, I'm going to I'm downloading Best of KAT-TUN and cartoon KAT-TUN II YOU. I'm gonna listen to Real Face and then Make U Wet. (Did I mention I love Koki?) And then whole album. I think I might start with the albums singles and then the album tracks.

Best of KAT-TUN - 1 single , YES 1 single which's Real Face & it's arranged differently as compared to the single version but it's still good

the whole album's really good though :thumbsup but nothing still beats QoP at this moment in time

cartoon KAT-TUN II you - 2 singles , I didn't like this album at 1st man but I'm OK with it now .

The 2nd disc's NICE as it contains 7 songs that they did from their Junior days

& yes I know you like Tanaka :D & it's great that on here so far no 1's fighting with me over Ueda :lmfao

that's a different story with regards to Kame though :innocent

i think you should give "Best of KAT-TUN" a really good spin. QOP is my personal favorite, lol, but most people seem to prefer BoKT more. it's more on the pop side, with "RHODESIA" & "Real Face #1" being only the songs that are similar to today's KAT-TUN's releases (aka "rock"). i don't really regard KAT-TUN as rock as in like, j-rock, but idol rock-pop at best. :)

Sadly the original version of Le ciel never make the cut in an album (yet) but I really adore this . It's unusual to mix Christmas beats with Tanaka's rap on here but somehow it works in their favor

Crazy Love & Lovin' U [First Press Track] (Keep the faith's B-sides) -- OMG I'm just CRAZY over Crazy Love , I :luv2 it on 1st listen & it was fantastic when they did that song live in their QoP DVD :smitten

I also like Lovin' U but not as much as Crazy Love in here lmao

Ai no Hana [The flower of love] (Ueda Tatsuya's Solo) - found in the limited edition type C of DON'T U EVER STOP - it's Tat-chan's solo song & wow I was so blown away when I 1st heard Ai no Hana as it's such a beautiful ballad even though it clocked in at 6:04 mins :thud

Tat-chan's so talented , he wrote & composed this which's awesome :smitten .

On My Mind (ONE DROP's B-side) - this's found as a 1st press track in ONE DROP , great stuff . Very slow , even more slower than their usual B-side ballads but I love it

On Your Mind -Please come back to me- - only found as a 1st press in RESCUE & yes this's an answer call song to On My Mind & FOR ONCE , Akame didn't opened the song , it goes to Taguchi & Ueda .

i haven't heard much of kat-tun's ballads (only bokura no machi de and white x'mas) but for now, i gotta say that i think white x'mas is my favorite. i don't even remember how many times i've listended to it last year, lol. since i'm on break now (FINALLY!) i'm gonna try to listen to more of KAT-TUN's discography (via irene's download thread, of course :D) i'll listen to anything to get koi no ABO out of my head! :laugh
