sorry to double post, but this deserves it.

fiction nonfiction blows sea-through communication OUT THE WATER! even though it's so short, it's freaking amazing. this band will never disappoint me :weep

karen, let me know what you think! the butterfly swimmer remix isn't too bad either! i actually like it! :D

KarenPang 10th October 2009 03:21 AM

LOL Lisa

I honestly like sea-through communication (the single I mean) a LOT more than butterfly swimmer

I think the reason(s) on why I said so is because fiction nonfiction's ace & I like the -Q;indivi-Yusuke Tanaka Remix- of butterfly swimmer which's damn cool

this time round , they went all out & make their latest material very synth & guitar driven which I like :D

& oh I have uploaded the CD + DVD ; 1st press scans of sea-through communication which I will do so in my jpop scans thread

downloading the single at the mo :D

I gotta check it out!!!!

EDIT: Just heard the b-side and the remix and they ROCKK!!! They're just awesome! Can't stop listening to fiction nonfiction!
But this single is still no where near as amazing a butterfly swimmer! I mean, the a-side, b-side and remix in butterfly swimmer "PWN" sea-through communication totally! :P

KarenPang 10th October 2009 06:43 AM

^ oh you think so ?

Beer Trip to me was only so-so but fiction nonfiction is just *______* to me

& I honestly like the remix of butterfly swimmer it's so nice

Beauty4123 10th October 2009 02:29 PM

i can't choose which single i like better. as far as remixes go, the butterfly swimmer remix is the BEST out of the past 3 singles. i'd also say fiction nonfiction is better than beer trip, but it falls in with flat, because i love that song so much. so those 2 b-sides are my favorite. and my favorite a-sides would have to be futuristic imagination & butterfly swimmer. i like sea-through alot too, but i gotta be honest: it's not the best a-side.

:P i even confused myself with this post, lol. it's too early in the morning :dead2

KarenPang 10th October 2009 03:09 PM

yeah I agree , the butterfly swimmer's remix is pure :heart

their B-sides need a LOT more listens than usual but exception goes to fiction nonfiction as it's so catchy

I guess 3rd time's the charm for the guys & girl

aqua_crystal 10th October 2009 04:44 PM

HAHAHA!!! My opinion is like the opposite!

I thought the futuristic imagination remix was way better than the butterfly swimmer one! Even if it were vocal-less. I'm starting to enjoy the a-side now but it's NOWHERE near as good as butterfly swimmer or futuristic imagination. The b-side rocks, but I LOOVE beer trip now so I can't decide :P

Have you guys noticed that in all their b-sides, sfp has tried doing somethung new? Like beer trip, fiction nonfiction and flat were all experimental tracks.

Beauty4123 10th October 2009 05:55 PM

that's why i love them! they experiment and it comes out freaking amazing :cool i hope they'll always stick to their own style, even if they get somewhat popular in the future. sometimes i find that when some bands gets their big break, they kinda just don't feel the same anymore, so please stay the way you are, SFP!

*sigh* if only i had money, i would show my support :weep

KarenPang 11th October 2009 02:51 AM

HMV doesn't import their stuff here T_T

at most when their next mini album or full length album's out , I will order it online :)

aqua_crystal 11th October 2009 05:02 PM

I have some of their stuff!! Hehe, I'm so awesome :D Actually I just buy some releases if they have a nice cover/ scans and sfp's releases definetly do!

KarenPang 13th October 2009 10:56 AM

so where did sea-through communication stood in the 1st week ?

I honestly dread to find out about it @_@

Beauty4123 13th October 2009 09:55 PM

49 1,368 school food punishment

*sigh* but you know, i'm just glad they can chat and sell at least 1,000 copies, lol. :P

KarenPang 14th October 2009 12:20 AM

at least it did better than butterfly swimmer's #60 but still this's bad :(

Beauty4123 14th October 2009 12:24 AM

i thought butterfly swimmer had #30 for the first week! but #69?! :o i guess sea-through communication DID do better, lol.

KarenPang 14th October 2009 12:40 AM

the funny thing's that Lisa , even though butterfly swimmer tanked terribly at #60 , its 1st week sales are higher than sea-through communication o_O

butterfly swimmer's 1st week sales was 1,657 as compared to sea-through communication's 1,368

Beauty4123 14th October 2009 01:50 AM

omg that's weird! but still pretty bad :scry

KarenPang 14th October 2009 08:02 AM

yeah it's very strange

sigh such an under-rated band , they really deserve more than what they're getting at the mo :(

aqua_crystal 16th October 2009 08:33 AM

^Indeed. Japan doesn't "understand" good music sometimes O_o

But yeah, atleast their stuff doesn't flop, I mean, 1k isn't exactly a flop right? They should have more (and better) tie-ins

KarenPang 16th October 2009 08:36 AM

that's true

I will start to worry if their singles never charted on Oricon . I think that's worst

at least with some ranking(s) that they attained so far on Oricon , it's not so bad I think

Beauty4123 16th October 2009 06:25 PM

i'll be waiting for the day they get a good anime tie-in (they already had eden of the east, but i mean something more popular like...BLEACH?) or at least a decent drama tie-in. then maybe we'll have some luck :P
