Well, she was there for the karaoke thing, but I believe she's in NYC right now because someone over at UBLOG spotted her over at some store.

As for the single, no, no announcement of a new single. Just a digital release of Sanctuary.

9 Sai no Omoide is a re-cut single from when Hikki was with U3 (A group with her parents) Both songs from the single are on their album STAR.

Beautiful World ~PLANTIb Acoustic Mix~ is the song for the new Evangelion movie which she was doing a song for anyway.

The 9 Sai no Omoide single is being released in late August.

I hope her next single is upbeat....but I'm ok with another ballad any day. Another FoL would definitely put her back in the recent memory of her fans. :D

In Japan, yeah. But in the US she can't do that. Especially with the follow up singles.

Is she really loaded? She did have a divorce. I'm not sure how Japan deals with divorce and alimony, but she did make more than him. In the US, that would mean she would have to pay alimony to keep him in the style he's become accustomed to.

the cover of Sanctuary just repeats CBTM, I don't like the font and the outfit only :P

I actually pretty much liked Beautiful World. probably because I love the original. well, the remix sounds very good to hear during summer :D

I don't like digital singles :no

it's pretty fashionable, but doesn't physical stuff make more money?? :)

Yeah but her ex made good money too. I'm sure she's up there when it comes to her income despite her divorce.

Well, not really... if the single sells a lot, it makes a lot of money (but you have to pay the costs of production of the cd). When it's released digitally, If a lot of people buy, you make a lot of money... but if only a little people buy it, you don't lose as much as you would with physical copies

There seems to be so many "new" songs announced (9 Sai no Omoide, BW remix & Sanctuary digital release) yet no new material.

Saying that the BW remix is quite nice - if only we had it in good quality.
