aww, i'd love a new tackey single instead of a DVD :( or album. either one, lol.

it's sad because I really want Tackey & Tsubasa to release something together as a duo as they haven't release anything after 2008's Koi Uta / PROGRESS

but with both of them being busy with so many/much solo activites , I don't even know whether their existence as a duo will still continue on if not be extinct just like that :(

this is random, but since we're in the JE sempai thread, i was thinking about Johnny's Countdown (i know...i'm 4 months early :doh) and the thought of it just makes me smile, haha. it's gonna be so much fun! i already can't wait.

honestly , I don't mind a solo album from each of T&T but if the truth's that they really have disbanded , can't Johnny issue an official statement on this ? :(

it's quite tiring to keep on waiting/thinking that someday again both will record material once more but the underlying truth might be it will not happen again ;__;

V6's Sakamoto becomes Zorro

Masayuki Sakamoto (39) of V6 will take on the starring role in a production of the "Zorro" musical next year. Sakamoto has appeared in stage productions every year since 1992, but this is said to be the first time that he has earned the part through an audition.

The "Zorro" musical was first performed in London in 2008-2009, and the Japanese version will be produced by the same staff. They came to Japan this past January to hold auditions, which reportedly included many famous actors. After hearing Sakamoto's singing, director Christopher Renshaw felt that he was perfect for the part of Zorro.

Sakamoto's part will include scenes of flamenco, flying, and fencing. He has already started physically preparing for the role.

"Zorro" will be performed at Tokyo's Nissay Theatre from January 13 to February 28, 2011.

SMAP's New Song as "Cirque du Soleil" Theme Song in Japan

Popular group SMAP's new single "We are SMAP" will be the new theme song for the worlds greatest performance shown at Cirque du Soleil from next year in February.

"We are very proud for SMAP to be able to collaborate in this field of entertainment this time", the group said. From the side of the Cirque du Soleil the comment stated: "We are very happy about the collaboration with them and we are excited about it from here on. With the combined strength of Kooza (Cirque du Soleil Production company) and SMAP we are certain to be successful in Japan!"

Both parties had been taking part in the Fuji TV show "SMAP x SMAP" on February 25th in 2008, to which Cirque du Soleil's representative said "We can hardly express our joy about the renewed work together with them."

On October 9th and 10th SMAP will be performing their first overseas concert in Shanghai, China. "Like with Cirque du Soleil 'We are SMAP' is surpassing boundaries between countries and people and we hope that we can share the same sentiment with this song", SMAP added. Certainly, such a global collaboration creates deep emotions among fans and guests alike!
