I think it will be extremely difficult for the remixes of Don't look back and Microphone to be better than the originals.

I also hope they don't pull a BLUE BIRD for the covers!

Hmm, I don't get this hoo-ha over the word "consecutive". It just means "one after another".

"S/S ~LiA~" and "You were.../BALLAD" are consecutive singles. "NEXT LEVEL" and "R'n'RC" are consecutive albums. Time doesn't matter, consecutive just means things are going to come one after the other in sequence. So the 3 singles are going to come after one another as a set, 48-49-50. And not like 48, 49, 51 as a set, with 50th single being an extra, or something like that.

Nor does theme, for that matter. For all we know, the only thing linking these 3 singles together can just be this project of releasing chaku-uta previews of the next single. Until the 49th single (maybe even the 50th) is released, we won't know the sort of link that exists between the 3 singles. :shrug I, for one, doubt that the 3 singles will have too obvious a link between them.

do you mean the summer look of them? because the blue bird covers are absolutely stunning and among my top five fave single covers. they really work with the title "BLUE BIRD". or do you mean the variations, as in every cover is exactly the same, and just zoomed out? because then I agree, that would be annoying. If all the covers were only just slightly different. she's done that a lot lately. yw/b, r/s, s/s (yay for acronyms). now that i think of it. i can't name a single instance where different versions of a single had drastic changes for each cover.

Thank you for this input. Because like when they released Sunrise for example, they didn't mention it's gonna be a "consecutive" single project, so even with You were..., it didn't feel like they were supposed to be associated like a set/bundle or something.

But with MOON, mentioning consecutive gave me the vibes the 48th, 49th and 50th singles are gonna be linked in whatever ways avex deems fit lol..

I can't help but feel that it's probably a ploy by avex to hype up the 50th single. Like, this project really screams out at everyone "WATCH OUT AYU'S 50TH SINGLE IS COMING!!!!" sorta thing. Lol!! Cause if this project didn't exist, I won't even know which single she's currently on. :P

But knowing the deep person ayu is, I'm sure she'll try to work some interconnecting link in between the singles. :D

I have faith in that too! And xD it does seem like a desperate attempt to hype her 50th single up... hmm but if they come as a linked set I wouldn't mind it at all (if it was good of course like vogue/Far away/SEASONS)

Actually, if you read the first line of the announcement, you will notice that (like you said) it says there will be consecutive singles for 50th single. But it also says MOON/blossom will be part 1 of 3. It gives the impression that these singles will be connected in some way as lead up to 50th single, so actually I disagree with your statement which says that there's nothing which says they will be connected.

Facing towards the 50th single, this is Part 1 of 3 consecutive singles.

I wanna explain further. 弾 is used for counters when all parts make up one full legend, or a story, or like a manga series. They all have something in commons, and they are the part 1, and then part 2, and etc.

It is definitely connected in my opinions.

OMG. this 3 single project is LOVE. but 4 versions for the new single? craazy! i really did not expect this at all. i'm so excited! :tipsy i'm so glad we're not deprived of new ayu material this year, haha.

Things good in 4versioned single is that we got more covers :D And more alternate versions for album songs!

I think that I will buy both CD only... cause I'll get all songs and remixes and the PV's and makings will come with the next album... soo.. unless CD+DVD has some xtra I can't get with CD only, I'll do that XD
