To tell my story in short...
OMG I SAW THE FFX-2 TRAILER... AND OMG YUNA DANCES & LOOKS FIERCE... AND OMG THE SONGS ARE SO GORGEOUS... AND OMG I'M BUYING THIS GAME... AND OMG I'M BUYING THE SINGLE FOR JUST 45$ FROM THIS GERMAN ONLINE SHOP... AND OMG I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE PRICE CAUSE THIS IS JUST TOO F_*_*_* GREAT!! LoL
(It was in a time when YesAsia and credit cards didn't exist for me! xD ~saw the trailer dec. '02 and bought the single march '03)

real emotion at '03. But at that time I didn't know that it was Kuu so I just listened to that song for some years. Then I heard Selfish and that's when I started to love her.

honestly, for like 2 years when I was all in ayu stan mode, I didn't like koda cause everyone was calling her a ***** and stuff, and then I saw JUICY and I was like

O_O

"holy **** this is AWESOME."


and then I was a fan forever.

^Hehe she is great. Her voice is amazing.

But I'm keeping my "Ayu stan mode" though. But they both are great, just very different. And I love them for beeing the way they are. Othervice this industry would have been boring!

She's actually my first jpop artist o_o Weird. I found out about her from FFX-2....but she was like a nobody back then...so I forgot about her...became a Hikki fan.....x-amount of years later...I happened to be getting into Ayu.....and I looked up Avex trax and saw Kumi there....and was like...that sounds familiar. Looked up Moon Crying. And that's how I became a fan o_o.

my "ayu stan mode" is what I call the era where I listened to nothing but ayu lol

I could never do that again lol

^Pretty much that kind of a stan... Well she takes at least 80% time of my listening time. And the rest goes for the others... That's not healty. Lol.

PV wise - I'll be there way back when MTV Asia was still showing JPop before getting a KPop if not reality tv shows overdosage makeover

I still remembered watching I'll be there & also With your smile separately (I had no idea the PVs were linked that time ;p) in the morning before heading to school , oh good times good times

In terms of song , I say probably Cherry Girl . I started listening to JPop in late 2006 & that Kumi song along with other album tracks found in Black Cherry were my early exposure to Kumi's songs

That's the same for me with Kuuchan @_@
But Ayu takes 10%,too then ....

My first pv was aishou lol and also my first time listening to her sexy voice, loved it.

I got into her 12 single project, I saw the covers for all of those singles and found it super interesting and cool, plus she looked hot. Downloaded all 12 singles, listened to them for a while and then got bored.

Then TABOO came out, I started listening to her again. Followed by Moon crying and that ain't cool, loved them lol

Later on downloaded Kingdom and TRICK, decided to buy both albums, and finally became a fan :yes

My first Kuu song is ECSTASY <3

that exactly represents the same history for me! Once discovered selfish it came shake it, hot stuff, you, ddd and all the singles of the 12 single project that in that moment she was promoting!
