Nino wants to make a music video game

While working as a national pop star in Arashi, Kazunari Ninomiya-san shows he can be just as creative as a piano and guitar-playing music writer and a critically acclaimed actor. His recent projects include the film “大奥 (Ohoku)”, TV drama “フリーター、家を買う (Freeter, Ie wo Kau)”, and action film “GANTZ”, all of which are set in different time periods with contrasting character personalities.

“The moment you turn on a video game, it goes, ‘The year is 20XX…’, before you jump into that world. Playing so many games has made it easier for me to take in situations be it at the end of the world, in the future, or in the past (laughs),” Ninomiya said.

So his ability as an actor to adapt to different settings comes from his video game experience. But having played a variety of acting roles, what does Nino have to say about a character’s personality.

“I think it’s like popular appeal and individuality. It’s a bit like water and oil, you can’t go into it thinking, ‘I’m fine as long as those who understand my artistic qualities look at me’. It’s important to establish some common ground with the tens of thousands of viewers, and then bring out your individuality from inside there,” he said.

Although he spends every day using his creativity to its best as a pop star, actor, and music writer, we asked what he wants to do the most right now.

“When you make something, it’s more important to have motivation than talent. A real feeling towards how much you want to do it. I know I’ve been saying this for a while but I want to make a music video game. I hope I can do it for real some time soon,” he said.

I'm sure that their health is suffering and no matter how young they look sometimes they don't get any younger.
And it's kinda funny that everybody constantly says: "Please take better care of yourselves...!", but how can they, when JE makes them work so much.

This shooting actually shocked me, because they haven't looked so tired and exhausted in a while.

No matter how many smiles they might put on (its their job afterall), there is no way that they aren't completely exhausted after the past few years. I am constantly amazed by the amount of work they are able to do without falling over dead.

Additional exciting details revealed for “MUSIC STATION SUPER LIVE”

SMAP, Yuzu, Ayumi Hamasaki, and Fukuyama Masaharu will perform their masterpieces from the past! SMAP will perform “Orange” (the followup song to “Lion Heart” from 2000), while Yuzu will perform their debut song “Natsuiro” (1998). Fukuyama Masaharu has been slotted to perform “HELLO” (1995), and “Sakurazaka” (2000). Moreover, Ayu will sing “M” (2000), which was the first song she ever composed by herself. It will have been 9 years since she last performed the song on TV.

Additionally, it was announced that Arashi, AKB48, and Ikimonogakari will perform a special Christmas medley, while DREAMS COME TRUE will sing their standard winter track, “WINTER SONG.”

Ninomiya Kazunari to make a first appearance on “Tensai! Shimura Doubutsuen”

Popular animal variety show, “Tensai! Shimura Doubutsuen“, will get a double-dose of Arashi goodness, as co-host Aiba Masaki will be joined by Ninomiya Kazunari for a 2-hour Christmas special (airing on December 25th). Although he won’t actually be at the studio, Ninomiya will appear nonetheless on a corner as a special guest.

Because Sakurai Sho, Matsumoto Jun, and Ohno Satoshi have all made their appearances on the show before, Ninomiya was the only member left who had yet to participate. For his corner, he will appear with female comedian duo, Harisenbon, and play with cute baby animals.

Arashi fans, your hearts might not be able to make it with all this cute overload.

anyway a summary of what ARASHI has done for 2010

- they released 6 singles which's the most they ever released a year

- they released their 9th album Boku no Miteiru Fukei which became their 1st original album to sell more than 1 million copies

- Arashi no Shukundai-kun is no more & it has been replaced with another new variety show titled Arashi no Shiyagere

- Aiba will be starring in his 2nd drama titled Bartender which will began airing in 2011

- Nino is involved in another movie called Gantz & it will open late next month in Japan's cinemas

Gantz will be shown in 47 USA states about 9 days before the actual movie screening in Japan
