^OMG that's crazy...

dreamland2.0 26th May 2011 06:50 PM

^
^ That's been getting around but the guy in those pics has a deputy like service so all those copies are not for him. While it's true fans purchase a lot of copies of the election voting single, some of these extreme reports are false.

And if not today, most probably tomorrow...

Really amazing.

2nd day: 142,233
Total: 1,084,708

Puts them right behind Mr. Children. I guess it'll take a few more days :P

We've reached over a million! Now we've got less than 125,000 to break the all-time record!!! Hopefully this happens within a day or two, but as always, what we want are the OFFICIAL weekly Oricon sales numbers...

And because the entire week is going to be entirely within May, I'm expecting those over a million in the monthly sales charts.

:thud

That is just a lot... 2,200 - or even 5,500 - is way too much for me - I'd rather buy one of each edition, if I could, to get all songs, not 5,500 total...

I would love Yukirin in top 3.....god I hope Myao ranks....depressing. Irrelevant NMB and SKE girls can GTFO imo.....and hell no, Sashihara in media? I vomit at the thought of her getting mass camera time in a PV like Heavy Rotation's. Her personality is annoying; why the hell is she even in this group if she thinks its going to end in like 2 years?

dreamland2.0 27th May 2011 03:36 AM

Sasshi is the bomb :D And SKE is the bomb too!! :D :D

If you're referring to the article on Tokyohive that said she said that I read somewhere that she actually said on on a show something to the effect of because of AKB now she could appear but she doesn't think she would be able to appear in the future. Not that their popularity will end in 2 years.

She's not the first member to bring it up. Other members have discussed it. I think sometimes she just to hard on herself but when she's not she's okay. Although I don't like how much she has been pushed lately.

I think when the results are out she will either be there or have dropped a few places.

Yuko at 1. That's cool. Yukirin at 3? That was unexpected. Yay Sae! Yui, please move. I don't like how they pushed her so fast after Erena left. Sayaka please go up to 16 or back to 17. I hope all of Senbatsu is included in the PV this time.

I am glad they wont have middway results this time but at the same time I wish they would. I'm going to be biting my nails hoping Sayaka makes it into Senbatsu. I'm tempted to buy more copies.

My copy hasn't arrived yet I'm hoping it does tomorrow.

So he's holding 5,500 copies for other people...?
Even if they were some of his friends as well, they'd still be buying hundreds of copies per person o_o. Unless I misunderstood you. What's a "deputy like service"?

The reports, as well as the man's personal blog/mixi both quote him as saying he purchased 5,500 copies...

Anyway, I like Tomomi... haha. Actually, she's the only member whose name I know. :P

^you should look out for Takahashi Minami, she's the leader of the team, the shortest girl, 148cm, but she has a very powerful voice. During shows and talks, she's normally the one talking very confidently.

dreamland2.0 27th May 2011 08:11 PM

^
^Like he gets all the CDs for people in China (I think I read China somewhere) and they pay him and he ships them out to them. This is what I've heard. It's like a deputy service like Tenso or FromJapan would do. A middle man service.

Bigtop 27th May 2011 08:30 PM

They're 67,000 copies away from the record! Hopefully those recent promotions (Music Station, Happy Music) help that...

LacusClyne 28th May 2011 04:01 AM

Just wondering, I read somewhere that overseas votes for the election will not be counted, as they will check that it has to be a Japanese IP address?

Noooo! I have 3 votes on my hands! I don't want my votes to be waste!

dreamland2.0 28th May 2011 04:21 AM

^Don't worry this was proved false. It was a mix up in translation. It was only saying the Japanese voting tickets won't work in the Hong Kong election. Overseas votes should be fine. If you are really worried though you could use a Japanese proxy to cast your votes.

Takamina should rly win election (I know its imposible with Oshima Yuko and A-chan but still she is my favorite member of AKB

I think the girls are getting ready for Singapore either on there way now or soon because Sayaka tweeted something about Singapore, an interview, sleep on a airplane and posted a picture of herself in her Saka agari outfit. Yeah, online translating isn't the best. :laugh I can't believe the next concert is so soon. Time went by fast.

Bigtop 28th May 2011 02:04 PM

Come on... Get me the record already - we have slightly over 10,000 left to that!!!

*goes*!

Great photos :D

and wow SKE is on AVEX now.

Polyrhythm 28th May 2011 09:55 PM

Yep. It won't be long before you start paying way too much for SKE CDs....and for crappy covers, crappy remixes, and probably crappy songs (see BoA's career in the past few years)....and there will probably be like a million versions of each release.

OogoeDiamond 28th May 2011 10:35 PM

^ I think AKS would be making decisions - I mean AKB family is SO HOT right now that they have to have good contract condidtions - They want to make money (that why there are all in diffrent labels) not to lose control
