I never buy anything on itunes. and there is no physical option yet...so well..her own fault.

It's perfect marketing, the album didn't leak because there isn't a physical release, and tbh it's pretty cheap for all the content, 14 songs and 17 videos.

Beyonce has never really been an album person to me, tbh. She has all these smash-hit singles, but then her albums are just sort of there for me lol

This is THE album, if you don't like it atm is perhaps you haven't watched the videos, who knows

And tbh it doesn't matter because the positive reviews are overwhelming and itunes is crashing and all of your faves' careers are on the line

hu? what are you up to? I'm a Beyoncé Fan ever since the first day of Destiny's Child, and still I think her first solo effort is her best so far. Both 4 and Beyoncé, the latter even more, lack uptempo songs and the lenght of each track is not helping the dragging feeling.
So yeah, it certainly is NOT THE album. It is okay for what it is but it has way to many filler and boring tracks to get me anyhow excited, and since when do a lot of PVs make up for it? I found most of those boring too (Blow is among the best, both audio and visual). After listening twice to the album the albium got two stars in my itunes, one lower than 4.

and as far as I know, all my faves's careers are doing pretty good.

Everybody has their own tastes. For me this album is much different than anything else other artists are putting out. This album is so personal, you can tell she put a tremendous amount of thought and effort into this one. Music has changed from back in the day, I bet if she were to release the same upbeat tempo songs over and over, she wouldn't have much of a fan base left

The thing is (at leats speking for myself), I never said the album lacks personality or quality...I found them to be on pretty high level actually. I jut said the album, just like her last one, bores me as a whole. and after 4 I tought she would at leats pop out one or two real upbeat tracks...she did not so I feel dissapointed and I just can't picture myself sitting through all those slow tracks very often... I don't even remember most of it since, at least for me, it lacks stand out moments. however, if poeple love it I'm okay with it and I never attacked someone for liking it. in the end, DIL and SF... were better efforts in my eyes.

Her debut is her worst. 4 and this are probably her best albums imo
