I hope the second DVD will have all the encore song from previous live, but knowing avex it's impossible.

Same here.
It's an okay tracklist, but Ayu staff seems to keep forgetting this is a 15th anniversary thing, so it should be special. Why not including all the encore songs, plus some others (SAKURA)?

Avex don't know how to celebarate Ayu's 15th Anni?Seriously? We got a lot of new songs, a concert made with the fans with a tracklist using a lot of Best Ayu songs, CD live, a lot fo new magazine,...
I would like that people know how Hitomi Shimatani's one is celebrated : as if she was dead! With only one best album (+one new song) & nothing more. Ayu's fan just act as spoiled child according to me. They don't see the luck they have compared with Hitomi's fans.

omg she looks so happy in those pictures!! i loved that one that she is jumping onto someone's arms *---* thanks for sharing..

btw, yeah, it's an okay setlist and okay cover, it looks good, but i was also expecting SAKURA as some kind of bonus =(

but....... ever free is there <3 <3 <3

Seriously. We had new songs, sure, like she wouldn't have done an album this year without the anniversary thing. She does an album every year, sometimes two. Plus, we had two useless "mini albums" released with a commercial strategy that was shady to say the least. We had a DVD that was bound to be released anyway. A voting thing which was half used. An acoustic album with mostly very bland arrangement (but some good ones, I admit). A lot of horrible PVs, while the real "anniversary song", Tell All, was gone without one.
And now, an incomprehensible short tracklist, while she did more encore songs. I would understand a normal tracklist, but for an anniversary release, which is supposed to be special I think, I'd expect something more. Unless you consider the Live CD a plus (I find in internet tour cd lives made by fans every year, people could do it by themselves if they wanted).
Ok, if some of you guys are satisfied, I'm happy for you. But for me it was a lot of mess (and most of all, a lot of money) for nothing and I would have appreciated a lot more a normal, simple release, but well done, like Mirrorcle World was.

What I said is objective! She gave us a lot of things. No matter if you like them or not. She didn't do what 99% of singers do during an anniversary years, just releasing a best album. So saying that she did nothing for a 15th Anni is objectively wrong! Moreover, you say that you would prefer a simple release but at the same time you say that you want something special! Decide you!

My point is, she has done nothing she normally wouldn't do and called it a "special release". Every year she always does an album. She often does remixes (in fact, Ayumix 7 was somewhat more polished as a release than A Classical). She always releases Tour and Countdown DVDs.
She did a lot of things this year, you're right, but let's face it, she always does a lot, she's very prolific (and avex loves to milk her dry). Nothing really special, sorry. Then, the fact that I find a lot of it of a questionable quality doesn't help the situation either. But I'm not gonna be called spoiled because of that, sorry, I'm not. I don't have exaggerated expectations.
EDIT: And, for what I intend with special: I mean something done specifically for the anniversary, that's it. Mirrorcle World was, a lot of the releases for this anniversary were not, they were things she would have done anyway, but labelled as "anniversary", without really aiming at celebrating, imo.

Actually, avex have done more. But it's more to loyal/hardore fan that buys her stuffs/joins TA.
Look at the stuffs going on during her tour. The slots giving out gifts for free, RAINBOW house performance, the lottery gifts for the 5 consecutive release. If you're still grumbling about not doing a lot for the anniversary, let me remind you that it's still not the end of the year yetz. And a digest video of the RAINBOW house is coming out soon to TA members. Giving the idea of a digest video, I think there might b more to the event?

I really hope there's more in store for us!XD I guess it's just a matter of opinions: I really, really don't see anything of it such a special and exceptional thing! Singers always do this kind of stuff. I understand why they always go with a Best: that's the epitome of celebrating a career!

Yoake 24th August 2013 06:06 PM

^ They only called concert tour 15 th Anniversary because that is the year of her 15th anni! Singer never do anything special in that kind of year (they just release songs or best album because they're singer). So I don't know what you expect! That she sing evolution & dance in the street naked? That she create a gold statue & put it in the center of Tokyo? Even for her 10th Anniversary she did nothing special, only concerts & new songs. You're only disappointed because the reality is different from your wishes!

No, baby! LOL I'm just not so blinded by my stan instinct for Ayu to give up my critical side.:D I already gave you an example: Mirrorcle World was perfectly fine: it was something done with the purpose of celebrating the point she was in her career.
Now, let's calm down, can't we? I. am. not. bashing. Ayu. I love her very, very much. But to say that for me she did a mess with this anniversary is not having exaggerated expectations, on the contrary, since I'm of the opinion she would have done better with something simpler, without all the string of forced releases. But you think otherwise, I got the message.

toLOVE 24th August 2013 06:46 PM

I call the 15th anniversary a mess because the release is nothing really "new" to expect. With the 15th anni project, I thought it was a cool idea and that first two mini albums I thought was an alright release (even though everyone knows it's a single), then the classic album, nothing too special or surprise because she released one before and she released an acoustic/orchestra album 2 or 3 years ago. The the album... now that's when I think it's a huge mess, the album title is a combination of the two "mini albums" and the album tracks are pretty weak compared to the "mini albums". The final release is the tour DVD... not surprised... she release a tour DVD every year. And for the live CD... that I can do it myself or another person may rip there DVD as well.

For her 10th anniversary, now, I think everything's done perfect. She released an new album (GUILTY), release a single, in the singles there's rerecording of her old songs. She released a 10th anniversary best of album which is good idea and the content of the DVD is pretty good.

People still wants that cute bottles with 5 drops of Ayu's holly blood or something. :P

SKYia 24th August 2013 08:08 PM

Let me just remind you what Zin said recently, the anniversary lasts till April 2014 and is not over yet + Ayu goes to studio any minute.

KLJames 24th August 2013 08:11 PM

is the 2nd time they removed my fav HONEY from live CD, sigh, need rip myself again...

koumori 24th August 2013 09:40 PM

I'm also disappointed with her fifteen anniversary, but it's not because of the lack of things she did. It was just that those things didn't seem like they were celebrating her anniversary at all. I felt the whole mess with the mini albums, the "fan-inspired concert setlist" (which turned out to just ignore songs she didn't want to include anyway, like kanariya) and the unfortunate relationship drama just took a lot away from any of the potential success it could have been.

It's just my opinion, but I just feel really disappointed as to how this milestone in her career played out. I do appreciate that she had a concert and released a full album, a remix album and a digital single...I just wish I'd liked them all a little more. :) I just get the feeling Ayu wasn't as focused on her career this year...

I'm looking forward to seeing if Ayu is planning anything else anyway. I always still look forward to her future plans.

njanjayrp 24th August 2013 11:23 PM

I think that everything was really toned down compared to the 10th Anniversary and it really seemed she was focused on the tour. I loved LOVE again and the tour, though the mini albums were completely unneeded and I can live without them. I think it might be a good thing for her not to annoy the general public too much. As long as she releases music I'll be happy. Yes I would like Ayu to go back to releasing singles and promoting music like she used to, because we get to see and hear more of her, but I guess we're a little bit spoiled.

pimenta 24th August 2013 11:28 PM

That pic with Go-mi made me smile, it's so good to see him celebrating with Ayu! :heart

Even if the pic isn't new, I really like the cover for the CD, it's great! And, well, tbh I actually wan't expecting her to put all the other encore performances in the DVD anyway... I would like to see them there, but I kind of knew they weren't gointo to be.
