I hate chinese but Namie's attemp was lovely!!

orangeakira 18th November 2014 04:19 PM

I love this song, I've been jamming to it over and over again. I really don't think either of them are over powering like people are saying, I think it's pretty evenly distributed. They're each singing what the other is singing.

Jesus Christ, how people can hate other people's languages? It's not like you chose to be born there and speak that language.
It may not sound 'pleasant' to your ears, but hate? Really? Are you really that simple-minded?

Looks like BRIGHTER DAY debuted on the weekly charts at #8 with 35,247 copies sold. Still better than Big Boys Cry / Beautiful total sales lol.

Benikari47 19th November 2014 05:59 PM

Holy crap that's not good lol, but i'm glad it sold better than BBC/B even though it was a solid single.

So I got my copy of PLAY today...

Vision Factory is also featured in the "special thanks" part of the booklet.

I'm Not Yours' director is Muh Chen (The Great Artist, PLAY). And choreographer is Danielle Polanco.

Some info about I'm Not Yours from a recent radio interview:
Quote:

I'm not Yours
After deciding to work together with Namie Amuro, we started throwing demos to each other. However, I wasn't satisfied with the demo produced by Namie's studio because I've produced similar quality songs on my end. Hence, I'd decided to show my demo to Namie and surprisingly both her and her company likes it. Initially she wasn't going to sing any Chinese lyrics in the song, as she's afraid her pronunciation wouldn't be good. After some communicating, I've received a sample of her singing Chinese and I almost knelt down.

Jolin has revealed that she had previously prayed that Namie will be able to sing Chinese. As for the MV shooting, Namie was happy with the director's script. However, she was in a rush so she didn't have the time to prepare for the actual dance, but there will still be some slight dancing. The MV is expected to be released in January 2015. As for further collaborations with Namie, it will be highly dependent on the responses for this current collaboration.

*.* I hope there will be more !
I think Jolin should try other big Jpop stars (Ayu / Kuu / Anna T.) I'm sure they would be able to make something great !

if anyone is planning to attend to Namie's concert on the extra dates (22nd and 23rd of december) the general sales just opened!
The sales are here: http://portal.tickebo.jp/sp/1411-amuro_kdt/
This is the only place you can get the tickets, don't expect to find her tickets on resale stores, because Ticket Board uses digital QR code ticket through the cellphone, so resales are really hard.
You can pay for the tickets using an international credit card, so don't worry ;)
It's first come first served basis, so run before they are sold out!

Just bought my ticket for the 23rd, I'm so relived I'll be able to watch Namie live while I'm still in Japan :D

°~Kitty~° 22nd November 2014 03:11 AM

It was sold out after 6 minutes...wasn't able to get it. But I will try to get a ticket trough ticketchamp :)

SKYia 22nd November 2014 12:43 PM

I'm sad :( I was really sad when I found out Namie ends tour before December 19th and then happy when she added the dates on the 22nd and 23rd, I always wanted to go to her concert and I will be in Japan after December 19th, however, my friend just got an email from his friend who lives in Japan and he wrote that he can't get me tickets for her concert, that he must be in a fan club or something.

I just want to confirm it, can't I really get a ticket as a non-Japanese person? :( This is so unfair. 一期一会.

I just read the two posts above, my life sucks.
I wish I knew about this open sales.

thinkingoutloud89 22nd November 2014 07:22 PM

^a friend of mine wrote me in the middle of the night that she is pretty pissed caus eit is so hard to get her tickets
not only do they sell out really quick beacuse people buy multiple and sell them on ebay...they are cellphone exclusive or something

What does this mean, that you can't use a ticket by someone else?

tomiko8 23rd November 2014 01:33 PM

Im going to the concert on the 11th of december but my bf and I purchased tickets from a fan club member. Which was a nightmare. The good thing about fan club tickets is that they are all "good" but some are fantastic. Only problem with that is that they dont even know till the concert is within a few days where the seating is. The other drawback is that you do need a cell phone. So if you were to go to one her concerts you would need either a japanese cell with data or a pocket wifi or a sim card.oh yes its a freakin hassel and most 3rd party sellers dont want to even be bothered with the whole selling process. I swear if she wasn't getting up there in age I would have given up for this year.

Isicio 23rd November 2014 06:40 PM

^in cdjapan.com they have SIM and Wifi rental

You can, the problem is that it's a pain to transfer the tickets, because as tomiko8 mentioned, the system will only send the tickets almost on the date of the concert (the previous time I used that system they sent the ticket on the day before the concert!), so buying from another person and making sure that person will send you the QR as soon as he/she receives it may be risky and stressful... And of, course, the resale must be directly done with the person who bought the tickets, so resale stores won't have the tickets for sale =/
