One of the only reasons that I had to buy Japanese CDs a few years ago...

I like that they're taking up less space now, but I hate how hard it is to differentiate between CD-only and CD+videodiscofsomekind on my shelf =\

I just loved the fact that people would come over to my house and ask me about those bulky glass cases and I'd show them how prettier Japanese CDs were :laugh I didn't stop buying CDs because of the new cases, of course; I actually try to save space as much at home so I buy everything digital (the only physical media I still buy are games).

The way the text is written on the spines in making me dizzy.

For me it's the opposite, I love when the shelves get full fast cause you buy a lot of CD+DVD stuff :laugh Plus it looked prettier there imo cause of the obi, and easier to spot also. But I get your point :P

Me too but after years of collecting discographies of various artists it's good to could save some space on shelves :headache

I kinda miss larger cases as well, but I'm running out of space on my shelf haha

Anyway to me I don't really miss them because it's not easy to get them replaced although they do look pretty/different compared if you were to buy singles/albums from another music genre
