I don't understand... the titled changed?
I think it was supposed to be called "Sakihokoru Hana no You ni / Kabuki Boiz" and now it's "Sakihokoru Hana no You ni / Kabuki danshi" :irked which is correct?

Well, Meevers definitely did not disappoint me with Sakihokoru Hana no You Ni -Neo Visualizm-/Kabuki Danshi. I had both songs on repeat for the longest time. I ordered the regular edition and I'm so glad I did because "MAMAGOTO" is great!! "Shoukyo to Sakujyo" is a favorite of mine so I was happy to see it re-done in such a great way.

Myv's made such vocal progress and the June 20th single really shows that. His singing is so much smoother and on pitch now. :) I don't think he's disappointed me with a single in over two years! (Didn't really like Freedom Fighters that much)

Only a few more days left until 7 SAMURAI SESSION -WE'RE KAVKI BOIZ-! I decided to pre-order the regular edition because to be honest the behind-the-scenes DVD on MYV POPS wasn't that interesting XD; First press is still available on CDJapan so you guys should get it while you can~ :)

i love his latest single-s releases! and i'm looking forward for his new DVD ^^

I haven't heard Miyavi's new single but I am looking forward to some SKIN songs ^^

I like the new remix album (I uploaded it so check the Asian Downloads forum :D), but I'm not as impressed as I thought it would be. For example, "Ame ni Utaeba" sounds better but I prefer the harder rock sound in songs like "ROCK N ROLL IS NOT DEAD" and "Shouri no V-ROCK!!". And I feel like the KAVKI BOIZ sort of, um, butched "Kimi ni Negai wo". I know Myv is having fun with them, but I'd like to see him solo again eventually. XD

Oh, but "Girls, be ambitious" sounds better on this one too. The only remix I really have beef with is KnNw.

btw, there's a SKIN torrent really interesting in jpopsuki torrents...

Oh yes his new maxi's are godly .I love especially the ~dokusou~ version of Coo Quack Cluck Ku Ru Ru.
And I Highly look forwrd to hearing from S.K.I.N. Tough I am not sure it will last long, as I'm sure egos WILL clash at some point, I'm happy with the members, espeacially that my Idol,and subject of this topic is a part of it, I am Fricken STOKED!!!!!

^What does it sound like? I mean like the feel/ genre?

^ I'm going to copy+paste the review of it I wrote for CDJapan 'cause I'm lazy:

Miyavi is best known as pure, pounding visual kei J-rock--that's why this sudden departure into the world of hip-hop and funk is surprising yet inviting. This new album puts new spins on his older songs and while the new beats, fun record-scratching and more toned-down guitar work for some songs, others are best left untouched.

"Shouri no V-ROCK!!" is an example of remix done right; the vocals and reinvented beat work with the feel of the song. "Ame ni Utaeba", which always felt out of place on a hard rock album like "Miyavizm", is better on this album; the R&B spin on it, coupled with the more mellow, soul-like singing, brings new life to the song. "Girls be ambitious" is another good remake, along with the laid-back feel of the new "Ashita, Tenki ni Naare".

However, "ROCK N ROLL IS NOT DEAD" is better off in its original format--driving guitar and fast paced, screaming vocals. "Kimi ni Negai wo" is also poorly remade; the vocals are shaky and the gorgeous strings downplayed. "Selfish Love" is too long and thus detracts from the original strong impact it used to have.

This album, while good, is not one of Myv's best. New fans should start with "Myv Pops" first.
