Thanks. Usually record labels like Johnny's and avex are rumored to make deals with Oricon on rankings so.. let's see..

I just had a thought yesterday. What if single A sells 39,525 copies and single B sells 39,247 copies. What happens? Would Oricon "adjust" the numbers or something. I've never seen anything that close and now it's happening with Ayumi! :O :O

My guess is that the album sells about 540k. I'd love it if it were 555k, just like Secret was 666k. :D

Just now I noticed that it lack 2 days!
Wow so GUILTY will eventually sell more than 450,000 (I think) for 2 first week!
Those are pretty awesome sales and ayu's popularity remain the same as last year... wow.

No Secret had better sales up till now. I think Secret sold almost 500k in the first two weeks. However GUILTY might have a better chart life.

I don't think GUILTY's will be so far from Secret...
With only index numbers it will be about 410,000 so with the added sales it might be around 450,000+ first 2 weeks which doesn't make it so far from Secret, and if it will have a longer chart life (with a miracle) so it can outsell it...
but it's all 50/50 right now.

The indicator for Ayu's might be much higher than Kob's. I'm hoping a lot of people pre-ordered it since first press included the photobook.

Remember CDJapan is OUT of First Press.....hope this is indicative of other online stores as well!

I think GUILTY did pretty well on HMV as well, it was #1 a lot.

actually ayu's sales is higher than kobukuro..but its not fair..
they count guilty only 11 days and kobukuro 12 days

This is my theory so I might be wrong but I think that the first few weeks are when the normal fans purchase the album as they usually do so they are fairly similar. In the last three years the first week was (approximately) 350k. So thus now it will depend on how well received this album will be. If it will be popular casual fans and others and have a longer chart life.

Right now I predict that this album will sell around 650-700k so probably the sames will be similar to Secret.


Btw wikipedia says "Together When..." was downloaded 1,000,000 times from Recochoku, is there proof for this or this is another fake thing?

wiketheppn says tw was downloader 900k+ (all song) and another 900+ (ringtones) from chaku uta.
