Reminds me of the Michi PV, where at the end, they had the people put the smile logo on, lol.

lol yeah I know

their band logo still freaks me out sometimes @_@ , it's paying homage to their occupations as dentists I guess cos of the teeth going on

ugh I never like to visit the dentist aka the room of pain :dead2

^ I'm scared of visiting the dentist too because of the pain, and I'm scared also of losing blood. -___-

GReeeeN's Japanese wikipedia has listed the following for their next single:

10th 2009年3月11日 刹那 *位 UPCH-89050(初回盤)
UPCH-80115(通常盤)
I hope it is true, and looks like the new single will be released on March 11th. WOOT!

Beauty4123 16th January 2009 12:06 AM

cool :D i hope it'll get a good ranking.

I just made a thread on Ketsumeishi, so check it out. Their music is pretty similar to GReeeeN. I always thought that GReeeeN were going to be the next Ketsumeishi in Japan, believe it or not. They are very popular, but I dun think their fanbase outside of Japan is big, so if you never heard of them, give them a try. ^^

& YAY for the supposedly release date of Setsuna <3

at least it's not on March 4th :innocent , everyone seems to be releasing a LOT of material on that day @_@

^ Kiseki has already broken the 500k mark:

504,286 GReeeeN 「キセキ」
It's sold more now, cus the # is from early January. The single is still doing really well on the charts, and is currently even higher than Tobira on the daily charts.

SINGLES (2009.01.16) - Oricon Daily Chart:

29 21 24 17 35 32↓37 GReeeeN 「扉」

KarenPang 16th January 2009 01:00 PM

^ that's awesome Kiseki has crossed the 500K mark :D

rookies 16th January 2009 01:15 PM

My prediction is that Kiseki will stay on the charts for a very long time, maybe a year and a few months? XD It will be one of those long-charting singles, definitely.

Kiseki was released on May 28th last year & it's still doing very well :D

rookies 16th January 2009 01:36 PM

^ Let me change what I said: I hope it says on the charts for two years or more!!! ^^

I'm still hoping they create another song like Ai Uta. While I do like Kiseki a lot, I think Ai Uta is a very nice love ballad. <3

Ai Uta was the 1 which gave them their big break bcos Michi & High G.K Low tanked in terms of sales & chart positions

Kiseki just took things to a whole new level for them & also contributed to the sky high sales of their 2nd album (which prevented ayaka's Sing to the Sky from debuting at #1 too :( )

rookies 16th January 2009 01:55 PM

^ Really? I had no idea it kept ayaka's album from the #1 spot.

By the way, I found the info on who held GReeeeN from the #1 spot for the following singles:

Ai Uta - RETURNER ~Yami no Shuuen~ - Gackt
Tobira - White Xmas - KAT-TUN

------------------

Kiseki held off these singles from the #1 spot:

Chou - V6
Koiuta -Koiuta- / PROGRESS - Tackey & Tsubasa

Kiseki spent 2 weeks at #1

Yup their 2nd album prevented ayaka from getting #1 & I was a bit pissed when that happened

Their collaboration with BACK-ON was held from the top spot due to NEWS's Happy Birthday & gaaa Kiseki thrashed both Johnny's senpai's :thud :dead2

I should add that Kiseki was the 1st single of 2008 to spend more than 1 week on the top , the 2nd after Kiseki was Mr.Children's Hanabi

Really? WOW! Is it just these two singles that spent more than a week at #1 in 2008, or are there more?

frankly I have no idea , there're prob the only 2 which were able to do that I think

rookies 16th January 2009 02:19 PM

^ Ok, I see.

Here's some interesting info I found on Oricon's Database website:

Ai Uta - 82nd week - still charting
Kiseki - 33rd week - still charting
Tobira - 6th week - still charting

First album - 81st week - still charting
Second album - 29th week - still charting

So Ai Uta is STILL on the charts, and wow, I really hope it can stay on the charts until it reaches its 100th week. ^^ I wonder what position it is at though?

rookies 17th January 2009 05:46 PM

NOOO... the GReeeeN thread is on the third page. :/

As I posted above, Ai Uta really has staying power on the charts.

I wonder whether Kiseki or Ai Uta will remain longer on the charts, haha. My guess is Kiseki. :)

KarenPang 17th January 2009 05:48 PM

it's not just Ai Uta , even their 1st album's still charting which's really something :thud

for a band who has numerous reasons beyond doubt not to show their faces & for them to come out with such great music , it's commendable

rookies 17th January 2009 05:57 PM

^ LOL, I was googling on Google images, and I found this pic of them on some Indonesian forum.

It's GReeeeN!!! I like the guy in the top left the most, the one with the black clothing + cap. ^^
