i took a listen to "Crazy Moon" & i like it! it has an old-school Arashi style to it. which is a plus in my book, LMAO. i couldn't really catch "Ashita no Kioku" in the previews, so i'll wait for the full version.

T_T Lisa's not going to be happy :laugh

Crazy Moon does reminded me of SUNRISE Nippon & their earlier works which I really missed

ka♡ri. 11th April 2009 05:25 AM

^wow, when i first heard it, i was thinking the same thing. i definitely hear sunrise nippon - which is one of my fave Arashi songs~

New Nino & Inou Mao SP :D

"Arashi's Kazunari Ninomiya (25) and actress Mao Inoue (22) will co-star in a drama special on TBS. The story is based on two novels written by professional windsurfer Natsuki Iijima, who died of cancer in 2005.

During Iijima's battle with cancer, he wrote an essay titled "Gan ni Ikasarete," which formed part of the basis for the 2007 film "Tengoku de Kimi ni Aetara," a biography of Iijima that starred Takao Osawa and Misaki Ito. Around the same time, Iijima penned a novel also titled "Tengoku de Kimi ni Aetara," as well as a sequel titled "Kamisama ga Kureta Namida." The drama special is based on those two books, which sold more than 450,000 copies combined.

The drama is also being called "Tengoku de Kimi ni Aetara." Ninomiya plays the main character, a psychiatrist working in the counseling room of a cancer treatment center by the beach. While tending to the patients, part of his job involves taking dictation from them when they want to send a letter to a loved one.

Inoue plays the psychiatrist's wife and mother to the couple's twin daughters. Other cast members include Nobuko Miyamoto as a nurse, Yusuke Santamaria as a surgeon, and Naoto Ogata as the owner of a surf shop.

The broadcast date for the drama has not yet been determined."

Wow it's interesting that Inou will be acting with Nino cos she did it with MatsuJun for HYD :yes

Beauty4123 11th April 2009 03:04 PM

YAY nino with mao! :love please tell me this is a real drama, though. not an SP! because i need to watch a drama this summer (or else i'll be so bored :scry) so i'd love it if this drama was gonna air in the summer.

but i guess it's an SP, so ignore my babbling :laugh

i'm so happy to see nino being so active in dramas lately, though! it'd be weird to see him with mao, though. after watching her with jun :laugh

and i agree that crazy moon has an old arashi vibe, too. even someone on another forum said it, so it's definately a good thing :D

arisu_1love 11th April 2009 04:21 PM

Hmmmmmm Nino's too young to be a dad! I totally can't see it. Nonetheless, I'm glad for his new SP!

I know LOL

Nino's too princey to be a dad but maybe he will prove me wrong with this new drama of his ?

it will be a bit weird to see Inoue Mao acting with Nino cos I was so used to her pairing with MatsuJun on HYD

Eirynne & I are missing their old music style that's why I said it's a good thing to me

ka♡ri. 11th April 2009 08:32 PM

^do you really think Arashi's music has changed THAT much?
i still hear their old style all the time. :yes

also Nino as a dad will be weird!
esp. since he looks so young and cute~

also, i watched the latest ep. of AnS - and it was just sooo funny.
i had to do this~

I still can hear traces of their old style from time to time , most evident recently in Crazy Moon which's a good thing especially for long time fans of the guys who probably were missing their old hip hop/rock roots

ka♡ri. 12th April 2009 03:19 AM

^tbh, i'm over waiting for them to go back to their old style. i'd rather have them do different styles than just hip-hop/rock. it'd old if they released rock after rock single or something like that y'know. out of most JE groups, i think they do the most and best with variety.

also thanks lisa!
and i think you meant 4 may! XD

Beauty4123 12th April 2009 03:27 AM

...i KNEW i made a typo! :laugh thank you kaori :P

KarenPang 12th April 2009 03:27 AM

it will be tiring if they were to put out hip hop/rock singles back to back all the time now that they more or less left their old music days behind

I'm not saying that I don't like their current music style but it will be great if they slot in a single that has traces of their old music style from time to time like I don't mind another Jidai , PIKANCHI , PIKANCHI DOUBLE & Sakura Sake

back to back similiar sounding tunes wouldn't be good at all :no

ka♡ri. 12th April 2009 03:28 AM

^I guess I get what you're saying. :yes

Beauty4123 12th April 2009 03:29 AM

if anything, i'd love another PIKANCHI DOUBLE. that song is love :love
