^ wow thanks so much! is this the NEVER END perf where she cries?

Spiral 3rd October 2009 09:41 PM

^Yep, that's the one.

MemorialAddress 3rd October 2009 09:43 PM

Why would she put BLACK DIAMOND on her CD, it isn't HER song. It's DOUBLEs song :P
I personally wouldn't want it to be on the CD anyway. Leaves room for more new songs ;)

Songwriter and producer HIRO has revealed on his blog that he produced Namie’s upcoming album track, “MY LOVE.” The song can currently be heard in commercials for Vidal Sassoon beauty products. HIRO has produced hits for several big name popstars including Koda Kumi’s “TABOO” and “Amai Wana” and J Soul Brothers “let it go.”

In the blog entry he reminisces on how he and his classmates back in grade school used to sing her songs when she became famous in the mid 1990s. He also states how much of an honor it is to be able to work with someone who has had such an illustrious career.

As have other sources, his blog also mentions that the song will appear on her upcoming album and not a single.

Not sure if this was posted already but here you go anyways~ :innocent

I'm so excited for the album! I wonder what it will be called and how the covers look :D

I don't want BLACK DIAMOND on the album too.

But she might put it on. Look at for example Aoyama Thelma, she had a song with Dohzi-T on their compilation album, Yakusoku no Hi, and then she sang her solo version and put it in her new album. But I somehow doubt it Namie will put BLACK DIAMOND on it.

Maemi 4th October 2009 12:11 AM

Just like Tohoshinki put their version of LAST ANGEL on T :) But I doubt it will happen with Namie in this case :)

awesome

the same dude that produced TABOO :heart , My love should be good & something worth looking out for I think

emi♡ 4th October 2009 08:24 AM

I would like her to release an all Namie version of Black Diamond as a bonus song...not an album song. Ew.

But I know they wont.

mcluva420 4th October 2009 08:27 AM

i dont want BLACK DIAMOND on the new album >_> even though i love the song, i think it belongs on some other release that is NOT a studio album

RikkuChii 4th October 2009 09:36 AM

^ Exactly. I really don't see a point of BLACK DIAMOND being put in her new album.

First of all, I don't see it as her song. It's DOUBLE's.

Nawww. She should just have WILD, Dr., My Love, COPY THAT & a bunch of new songs. I'll be happy with that. There's no need for other songs, really.

CoriKaru 4th October 2009 10:08 AM

I forgot that "BLACK DIAMOND" hadn't been released on "BEST FICTION."

Uh oh........it could very well end up on Namie's upcoming Album then and for plausible reason.
