Are you sure it's the original? The most famous version is Rimi Natsukawa and BEGIN. But it's also been done by Hayley Westenra, Hitomi Yaida and Marié Digby.
The original singer is Ryouko Moriyama.

According to SSTV, Diamond has the same director as Ayu's JEWEL. I wonder if the PVs will be similar, given the similar titling :3

Watch as avex pulls a Mamoritai ~White Wishes~ on alan.....BoA had such a great chance with thatr single and it could've sold more (though it did great)....I just hope alan doesn't suffer cause Diamond sounds really promising.
