It wasn't that amazing.

The songs literally had ZERO connection to the Glee story line. I mean, they could've made sooo much more out of the lyrics!! Bad Romance is about being in love with your best friend, "I don't wanna be friends", Finn could've sung that to Rachel or something, I don't know! Or Puck to Quinn, or Kurt to Finn, the possibilities are endless but they didn't use any of it.

And Poker Face between mother and daughter was ridiculous. That song is about thinking of another woman while you're boyfriend is ***ing you, not about love between mother and daughter. The bluffin' wif ma muffin' part made me cringe. An accoustic version of Paparazzi or something would've been better, since Rachel wants to "follow you until you love me" (to her mom).

I really love Glee, but in the Madonna episode they made so much better use of the songs' meanings. The Gaga episode just used her songs to create a hype, and didn't do anything special with them.

I still think it's a great tribute to Gaga though.

I honestly think they could've made much more of this episode. I was disappointed.

Episode was good, it was funny, but not enough Gaga, and it wasn't that poignant. The whole Kurt/Fin thing, if that's what you're referring to, has been going on for a while as of course you know and has no relation it being a Gaga episode, don't you think? She's more than a gay rights activist after all anyway.

Oh and telling every other member in every other post to GTFO just because they don't agree with you is starting to get old.

Dance in the Dark is definitely different, so it is a risk, but it'd be cool as a single. If she's really going to drop an album by the end of 2010, she should really avoid for a new song to always be on the radio though.. I know a lot of people who are already tired of her who used to be fans. Monster was only 8 tracks anyway!

Well, I do remember complaining a while ago that there aren't any Western artists that release like the Japanese and here I got one so I should probably embrace this while it lasts. You never know, she might randomly take a four year break after the next album.

Just a question: why does Gaga seldom smile? yeah, I know that she's so sensual and sensational, but at least not in EVERY photos right?

I saw her last night at the O2 and she said she didn't want a break and that she would rather die on stage than under some palm tree, so it looks like she just intends to keep going. Far stronger language than that was used on stage to describe how she felt though! She also said she writes all her music while touring so doesn't really want to stop touring for too long and the next album is basically finished. :thud

gosh, at her concert in my city, when she performed speechless, I thought right then that that song was going to become a single definitely.... she was perfect performing it! <3
