^ we're in 3010 already?! :P

KAT-TUN and HSJ are both overdue for a new single to me. even NEWS is releasing a single! hopefully KT can too. maybe if kame has another winter drama, lol. since he's had winter dramas since 2008. i didn't see him rumored, though. but i'll be sure to post if i ever see a rumor. :P

KarenPang 27th September 2010 02:51 AM

LOL some people should have checked before advertising ~_~

but yeah , I'm quite sure a new single might be released soon . I just don't know when

maybe they will release another Christmas one & it will be a White X'mas part 2 ? x)

ll moments ll 27th September 2010 06:26 AM

it's not a typo. it's really 3010. that's part of the tour name. :laugh

i'm thinking a late-November/December/January single? i believe i read Maru's J-web saying they were recording, but that was a while back. but i do think they're going to take their time with what direction they're going to take for this new "era" of KAT-TUN.

i'm still sort of...disappointed...i can't help but be. lol. i hope once things get moving, i can finally get over it. :\

Minttulatte 27th September 2010 09:36 AM

Oh I would love to hear White Christmas-ish winter ballad. That's so beautiful. :) Actually I would love anything. Just give me a new single plz <3

KAT-TUN'S Tatsuya Ueda’s comeback live

KAT-TUN’S Tatsuya Ueda (26) has returned to the stage yesterday for his solo tour in Tokyo, a month after injuring his foot in Taiwan, reports Sankei Sports.

The singer performed 18 songs for his 12,000 fans at the Kokuritsu Yoyogi Kyogijyo Dai-ichi Taikukan without showing any signs that his broken left toe was slowing him down.

None of the stage settings or routines had been changed, and it has been reported that Ueda had been running around the stage with all of his energy.

“(My foot has) only healed 70 per cent. I still feel some pain,” he said.

Ueda had broken his left big toe in three places in the joint area after failing a three-metre jump during a KAT-TUN concert in Taipei on August 27.

Looking back on footage from the concert, the singer says he can laugh about it now.

“When I was jumping down I did think ‘I’ve got it wrong’,” he said.

The KAT-TUN star said it had been his dream to go on a solo tour, and even sent a message of support to Jin Akanishi (26), who had recently left the group to pursue his own solo US tour.

“He’s my friend. I want to cheer him on,” he said.

there's a new KAT-TUN image song for Going! Sports & News called 「CHANGE UR WORLD」. :) however, we don't know if it's going to be a single or part of a single just yet.

you can't hear much, but it's more of a upbeat tune. i hear percussion & synths, so it should be interesting. i hear Junno's lines, lmao. (no autotune! yes!) :P

i am also getting tweets from my Japanese friend that Jin is also set to release a single next year. she says it's going to be "Eternal". interesting choice, i think. because...it's actually a Japanese song of his. LMAO.

Mai82Go 3rd October 2010 11:05 AM

Are KAT-TUN now only the song-providers for that stupid sports show? I mean, one single for it - alright. But two? To be honest I wish that it's only going to be a b-side or something.

Beauty4123 3rd October 2010 07:10 PM

i think it sounds more interesting than Going!. but i dunno if it's that strong to be an a-side. i think as a b-side, it would fit a bit better? :)

KarenPang 4th October 2010 02:02 AM

I can't judge CHANGE UR WORLD currently as I barely can hear anything there haha D:

but whether is it used in a 'stupid' sports show or anything else , it's still promo for the guys

it beats not having any to begin with

Jin Akanishi aims for simultaneous release in U.S., Japan

On Sunday, Jin Akanishi (26) held a fan club event at Zepp Tokyo, his first public appearance in Japan since leaving KAT-TUN in July. During the event, he talked about his U.S. tour this coming November, as well as his plans for next year. At the moment, he is looking to release his next single simultaneously in the U.S. and Japan.

Akanishi performed a total of 8 songs including "Eternal," which is the leading candidate for the upcoming single. He plans to release that single in Japan in early 2011. Johnny's Jimusho is currently in talks with multiple record labels in the U.S. to negotiate a simultaneous release.

Akanishi is also planning a solo album and a Japan tour, though details have not yet been determined.

During the event, Akanishi did not touch on the subject of his departure from KAT-TUN. At the press conference after the event, he explained that he already made his announcement on his blog, so he felt there was no need to talk about it. However, he acknowledged that his withdrawal from the group was very sudden, so he apologized to the other members for the trouble it caused. At the same time, he said he would like to see both KAT-TUN and himself rise up to a higher level as artists together.

Akanishi stated that he hopes to have Japan as his base for his international activities, and he would like to spread out to Europe and other parts of Asia, in addition to the U.S.

Everything sounds more interesting than Going! I really hope for a strong single release from KAT-TUN, and maybe that rumour about a new KAT-TUN show will come true? Then their exposure would be higher again. Seeing as there are no dramas with any KAT-TUN members planned next season or even rumoured for the Winter Season. It's been a while since they did a non-tie in. The last one being White X-Mas, I think.

lol i personally love Going!, since i love those fun pop songs. but for me, KAT-TUN is like pop/rock, so that's why i'd something more interesting, especially as an a-side. if CHANGE UR WORLD does become the a-side of a new single (since it does have a tie-in) i just hope it'll be much better in full and the preview just doesn't do it any justice. :P

there's a rumor of a new show, though? i'd like for the guys to have a new show. :) i really do hope kame gets a winter drama, though. so far only a few winter drama rumors have came out (and it's only october! :dead) so there's still a chance, lol. i'd love to see him in a new drama, and it's not just because that means KT will release a new single. :P

Yep, I read that a week or so ago in the KAT-TUN communities. Wasn't it posted here? Anyway, I think Kame will definitely get his drama. He got his Winter drama for so many years in a row now, people would think Johnny has given up on him or something if he didn't get it. I'd rather see a Koki or Nakamaru drama, though. It's been too long and Kame has his sports show for exposure.
