I'm following with the new Twitter style on!!!

Well, this is not the first time she had heavier make up and a more trendy haircut. In fact her new look reminds me her W&S era. I dun think she changes her image to sell cds. More likely she suddenly wanna have a different make up and style. I mean, people dun work the same type of clothes or make up throughout their lives. At one moment hikki might want to have a natural look. Now she wanna have a more feminine look. Nothing wrong with that.

Not something I was expecting from Hikki and definitely not anything I was hoping for. We'll see how the end product turns out but I want more ULTRA BLUE/Heart Station style. You know, synthy Hikaru bliss... But she looks good in the CM.

It's time for her to change her music style. Of course, since she's going to take a break, maybe she will just keep on the synth style... But two albums with synth music is already enough in her discography.

I hope she'll do Euro music next time :P (oooh.. French style will be good haha)

Loving the CM's!! The song's not my style, but it's fun and cheerful, so that's great! I bet the other 4 or 5 songs won't be anything like this. Artists always cover a strange song for the Pepsi Nex commercials, look at Kumi and Perfume! I mean you really can't compare Got To Be Real with Lollipop. So Hikki will probably get her own style back for the upcoming mini album :)

I think it's under the influence of being a French song. So probly the other new songs won't be as jazzy as this one :D.

I don't like the preview though, jazzy music is not really my cup of tea :no

The song i like, and while I'll admit my French skill is almost non-existent, the bad French honestly doesn't bother me. Same when I've heard others trying to do stuff like Spanish or English and not sound perfect. Just doesn't bug me the slightest bit. Heck, I've heard full American English songs and I can't make out parts of what the singer is saying. But I listen to Japanese, Korean and Mandarin songs and I don't speak those languages anyways, so why should any of this language stuff bug me to begin with...

Usually she wears similar outfits for TV lives of the same songs and have at least one different haircut for each era.... Nothing wrong, anyway, she doesn't need to dress like a homeless person to prove she has talent^^

OMG she looks so friggin gorgeous!!!! I love the sound of the song very jazzy. Hikki did not disappoint me!!! ^^ This made my day!!!! *screams*

so i hope utada will also tweet some in english. she keeps tweeting about the new songs, but thats about all i can gather from her japanese tweets.

Hey!!! It ain't that bad unlike the first time i heard the shorter preview!!! I kinda love it. it sets some kind of atmosphere though i have really no idea what she's singing about! hahahahah ..like i'm listening to a "more" strange lines from PASSION. hahahah

I see she wants to go out on a sour note

I'm trying really hard to like it... but the combination of the bad French (which is the part that bothers me least) and the soft vocals with the chaotic background arrangement is just not working for me at all. :(

I feel better now knowing that artists always cover a strange song and do something out there for this Pepsi line. I had no clue Kuu and Perfume also did something similar to this. That means the other new songs will probably be exactly what I've been waiting for so I won't let my current discontent with this song ruin the whole release for me. :yes

Wow... she releases one cover FOR A CM as a download and people are acting like now her other new singles will automatically be crappy as well?

It's a CM song. It's a cover. I don't see how that tells us anything at all about what her 'final' songs will be like.

Her next real single (hoping she'll have one, and otherwise the 4 / 5 new tracks) will blow us away!

I mean. Wonder 'bout exists on the same album as Kremlin Dusk.. so nothing stands in the way of this new mini-album being absolutely amazing :)

I don't speak French, so I can't comment on that, but the backing track seems overly chaotic. :eyebrow

I will say, though, I love her hair! :)
