I agree. Haha. Initially I thought Virgin Road was amazing, and well, it still is--but it's just not something I could listen to over and over, at least for now. Sweet Season is very easy for me to listen to, and the lyrics are so nice... I wish the PV was more than what it is--but I think it fits with this album's theme really nicely.

All in all, this is probably the most cohesive album she's released so far, judging from previews at least. I love how Love song has snippets of Last angel in it :heart

About Sweet Season! I actually liked the song from the beginning. It's nice to have a chill relaxing Ayu song for once! Everyone always wants something so grand and epic but I like these kind of songs every once in a while! It's great for driving, just like NEXT LEVEL. I drive for a ridiculously long time just to get the school so Sweet Season helps me out ;D

Oh that's right, RnRC CM and PV previews were out around this time... can't believe it's already two weeks before release. I hope we get it them this weekend (preferably right now lol). :P

@freedreamer: Yeah, Like a doll doesn't sound like a ballad at all... it reminds me more of the Loveappears era songs like monochrome and immature. Midtempo with a dance beat and just a very mysterious sound. This album seems kind of like a tribute to the classic Ayu sound, just about every song has a nostalgic feel. :P

Yep, pretty much. Although "do it again" could be one. It's hard to tell though because the preview sounds like it's the part building up to a big chorus.

I hope it leaks on the 17th so I can listen to it on the plane home to my lovely wonderful hometown of perth :D

2-3 days before the release date sounds about right for a leak, so I say it'll be the 19th. :P

I think it might leak next week since that's when Ayuchina and AMF will be getting their copy according to previous leaks. We'll see though!

it sounds really sad.

my guess is that this song represents the pressure she feels from avex and maybe fans, who expect her to keep churning out new music. i'm sure she worries every time she releases something if everyone is going to like it. not about chart positions, but just about how it's received to her fans.

sing, sing, sing, do it again...

of course, this is just my speculation...

I'm resisting previews. That's an interesting interpretation.
