Lord I hope not.. I dont want to wait anymore. But with all the rolling blackouts and everything they they plan on doing who on earth is going to go out an buy anything?? besides food and water that is?

But the blackouts are only for the affected areas right? Like south Japan isn't going anything are they? its jsut the tokyo area and up and around?

It does look that way, and don't get me wrong I would love to believe that but I just can't. It just seems too out of this world to me that we can actually persuade a megastar like Ayu to release something. I just can't grasp the idea of it!

But all the evidence points towards it, so I guess we made the impossible happen! :)

I'm having a hard time believing fans made this happen. Maybe we shoved the idea at them and they worked with it, but we did not make the box set. I want more proof. we need people to tweet stuff for her next stuff and see if it comes true.

^It doesn't matter what ayu says because she's not in control of that stuff. It's max's power when it comes to releasing, and what and when to release stuf.

I agree with you. But I do think however that ayumi has a lot if not some control over what does and doesnt get released. That was the whole point of her My Story album anyways. She wanted more control and say and she got it.

I don't get why people don't want to believe fans made this happen. the tweets are probably posted somewhere for evidence, can't find them though.

so yes. ayu fans are resonsible for ayu trance 4. but the rest? that's negotiable. They probably thought "hey. while we're doing trance, let's do everything else too." So I am still skeptical that we are responsible for the whole ayu-remix box set. I think we just got the ball rolling.

I pretty sure if it sells well we can expect more too. I know they stopped after Ayu trance 3, Ayu-ro 3 and ayu-mix 5 because of horrible sales. And from my understand ayu-mix 6 was okay, but nothing near what they use to sell.

I think 2010 was just an unbelievable year to remember for Ayu fans. First, London and the fan book, then Twitter, and finally LA. So many things happened last year that seemed too good to be true, but they were true. I mean how many users here would have ever imagined in their wildest dreams that they would be talking to Ayu face to face in English?

As for ayu-mi-x 7, I think that they had probably planned to do it at some point in time, but the fan reaction on Twitter sped things up. There was quite some time after fans got through to Max and Ayu where we did not hear about the project at all, which is probably when they were negotiating how they were going to do this thing. (amount of albums, release date, remixers to use, etc...) I do feel that fans played a big part in this release, but mostly it was showing extreme interest in something that Max might have been considering in the back of his mind, you know?

Was it really just a few dozen people? I remember looking at Max's Twitter at the time and there were a LOT of fans who jumped on the idea of new ayu-mi-x once it started going. (Most of the requests for a new ayu-ro mix were from Japanese fans... which sort of makes me wonder if ayu trance 4 is dedicated to overseas fans, and ayu-ro mix 4 is for the Japanese fans.) I also recall that this was around the time where Max was really into replying to fans on Twitter and my timeline was ALWAYS full of Max tweets. It was also around the time where he fought with a certain fandom and then decided to not reply to fans much after that.

And just a related note, Ayu became a SoftBank spokesperson just by asking about it on Twitter to the CEO, haha.

Yes, this is what I was guessing before as well. But ppl on AHS rather disagreed with me like "it's important to get back to the normal life, why would they cancel ayu-mi-x 7 release date?". See what I mean? =(

As cold as this might sound, luckily not the whole Japan is in distress. While it's not the top priority for sure, millions of people still live their daily lives, they go to work and feed their families. I can't imagine why would they postpone it?

Who knows.. They havent announced anything yet. So it still may be released on time.

I feel bad for hoping that the Albums don't get delayed because of the Quake, but it would be cool some of the sales when to Quake Relief (or ALL that'd be more awesome~). I love when artist let there money from sales go to charity
