I also wonder what Haruto looks like. We've never really seen his face. I've seen a maybe one or two tabloid looking shots, but those are always so blurry. Also, the ones I've seen are years old. It appears that Namie is quite successful at keeping him out of the media.

I haven't heard anything about him becoming a singer. Just speculation, but I'm guessing Namie wants to help him have a normal life and that is why she is trying to keep him out of the media. But, if Haruto did want to get into showbiz he certainly would have some connections already.

Sometimes i wish Namie could talk about her life as Ayu does. Something about Haruto would be cutee

Yeah, I wish Namie would talk more about what's going on in her life. I know it's not really any of our business, but as fans those are the sorts of things that fascinate us.

^ Seriously! And she pretty much never goes out of her way to talk to/meet fans, which makes me kind of sad :(

I completely respect that Namie keeps her personal life private. It's one of the reasons why I like her. Still, there are times where I wish she were one of those celebrities that frequently appeared on variety shows. Whenever I think of that I always remember that Namie was that celebrity early on in her career. She has already paid her dues. She doesn't need to show her face on a show in order to get recognized.

And I think that's why she does not have a Twitter account. (I'm logically guessing...)

Well, its ultimately her right to try and keep her private life as private as she wants. And ultimately I admire her for that. It was she that became famous, not her son and he should be able to live life as normally as possible, since obviously being born was not his choice. Namie is protecting her sons right to privacy.

However, she does communicate more with her fans that what seems to be known among most foreign sites. She does talk somewhat about her home life to fan club members and posts lots of pictures of her dogs and things like that.

Do you guys think Break It & Get Myself Back are gonna be on her next album? I feel like they should be since they weren't on Checkmate! (for obvious reasons), but by the point her next album comes out it's obviously going to have been a really long time since the single came out, so I have to wonder. Plus, with an album in between (even if it was a collab best) the single and the next album, I wonder if they'll just forget about the single altogether and have just new songs and whatever single comes after Checkmate! but before the album.
