i'm more happy to hear the English version they pretty much confirmed. Ugh I cant wait so I can further infect my friends with Girls generation. An English album would definitely do that.

An english version is confirmed?! When has that been confirmed? Thats great! I already showed the MV to a lot of my friends, and they love it. Sadly, they don't get into k-pop as easily as me. If it was in english, it could be a pretty big party hit!

(I even convinced a friend of mine to go for the 90s/hip-hop/grunge style they have in the MV and have a photo shoot! I looked on ebay for days! Ended up with tiffanys style, mostly. Just missing those shorts.)

That sounds fun. I do drag once in a great while and both times I did Girls Generation, didnt care that it was in Japanese or Korean. I had a lot of fun. I would love to get a replica outfit although for a fatter frame lol im a bit chubby.

I hope that they don't get Tiffany to write the lyrics in English cause gosh, I'm sure that terrible "I'm gonna make history" part in The Boys was written by her >.<

Isn't Jessica's English better than Tiffanys? I never understood why Fany gets most of the English lines. It's a weird move by SM. Just like how they completely ignore that Sooyoung is fluent in Japanese and should get way more lines in Japanese songs. I bet the Japanese version of IGAB will end up with her getting no more lines than she already has.

What outfits did you go for? I love the oh! Cheerleader outfits too! And flower power. And RDR! They have so many great outfits. The GG girls have an average weight of 45kg or something, so in comparison, we all are a bit chubby :laugh

Thanks for the link!!!

anyone remember this song

i still don't know what this choreography is trying to be lol

CoriKaru 27th January 2013 08:13 PM

My only guess would be that Tiffany is more confident and has the attitude to pull the ad libbing off.

Jessica: "Here coooooooomes TROUBLE! Whoooooo!"

I think she could do it though.

Tifffany doesn't exactly sound thuggy hard when she says them.

kimmeh 27th January 2013 08:14 PM

@love in music

Yay for ignoring my favorite trio Soo/Yu/Hyo :laugh

They should be their own sub-unit. The rapping/dancing/looking delicious sub-unit of GG. SoYuHy? HySoYu? YuSoHy?

@CoriKaru: It would be ridiculously cute.
"Hereeee comes trouble, woooo~~!!!" *Wink and raise right leg*

Sooyoung isn't fluent in Japanese though? In fact none of them are I don't think

Utena 29th January 2013 09:02 AM

^ she is fluent. Seohyun isn't bad either but she's still learning.

kimmeh 29th January 2013 11:19 AM

^ Correct. Sooyoung was a part of a group called Route 0, and they had their debute in Japanese. According to some different sources, she also lived there for some time.

Possessionless 29th January 2013 12:47 PM

She's not fluent, take it from a fluent speaker, but she certainly has the best level of Japanese in the group!

Utena 29th January 2013 01:55 PM

There are levels in fluency. For a non-native speaker, she is the closest to what you could call being 'fluent'. But even native speakers cannot be 100% fluent anyways, if you take it to the letter. There will always be things you don't know about a language. I still learn things about my 1st language as of today, so I don't think anybody can know everything.

The thing is, we can understand her, she rarely makes any mistake -if any-, she's talking in a natural way adopting the language's stresses and intonation. That's the broad definition of being fluent (as opposed to acuracy).
Then again she may not practice Japanese daily and it's important for any speaker. You may tend to have blanks/blackouts and make mistakes but in her case, that's not the case. So far so good as we say.

I just recently got into f(x) for the first time and I am loving their "Electric Shock" Mini-Album. I knew about it when it came out but didn't care.

Which one is Jessica's sister again?

terra 29th January 2013 06:33 PM

^It's Krystal
They kinda have the same attitude outside stage XD

kimmeh 29th January 2013 06:39 PM

I was surprised over how little they look alike !

love in music 29th January 2013 06:47 PM

^I actually think they look/sound a lot alike, though I prefer Jessica. People tend to say krystal looks like yoona though but I don't see it at all.

terra 29th January 2013 06:48 PM

They don't really look alike but if you pay close attention you'll spot their similarities
