As to why LUCIFER is not doing well just like Sugar Palm , I guess avex just didn't bothered to give enough promo for Anna as her peak period was when she provided songs for the NANA anime alongside with OLIVIA

To me it's sad but at the same time if you're a long time fan of her , why bother about this in the 1st place ?

LUCIFER is not on top 100 weekly :( WHY PEOPLE DONT LOVE ANNA!?

tbqh it has nothing to do with quality in japan
she is simply everything that is unjapanese and i think that turns most people off in a way...and her musical style is rather male territority

it sucks that japan is so strange in taste

I think those are the reasons...

Racism: she is only half japanese
Sexism: she isn't a "cute" and shy japanese woman and she makes rock music which is in the style of male japanese rock artists

Didn't Sugar Palm even failed to reach Top 200?
This is already better again.
I actually think, her long time not releasing anything as Anna Tsuchiya is to blame for that.
I mean, wasn't it 4 years?
And Hider is an indie project.

Sugar Palm peaked at #279 which's a lot better than LUCIFER but Sugar Palm only had 1 edition but LUCIFER had 2

Like what Chibi-Chan said , it's tough for Anna to sustain herself in the business especially since she doesn't fit into the whole stereotype of doing things that're in trend/in season right now

It's not easy but at least next year's something to look forward to which's Anna's 10th anniversary in the business :3
