I feel with every album there's at least one song that trumps all the singles. However, as far as many album tracks that are better than the singles, UNIVERSE wins.

Watched JAPONESQUE's blu-ray yesterday and the show was great!!

I just have a problem with the fact that a lot of tracks aren't fully sang. A lot of songs are just verse~chorus and that is that (even ai no uta!) like 11 songs from the live, apart from the medleys and the second encore's LALALALALA (that was just the same as before the 2nd encore, then what's point? at least sing the 2nd one in full!). I get the good will of performing many songs but I really prefer that almost all will be full versions and just 1-2 apart from the medleys could be verse-chorus. Songs mostly aren't worth it if they are not sang in full since important parts of them are missing, 11+ songs is TOO MUCH songs not to be sang in full in her main long big tour. I can understand it on TV lives and medleys (when there aren't too many) but on a tour I wish for mostly full sang songs. Also, she should sing more in the up beat songs and less let the playback run in the background without her.

Besides that the performances were really great. All for you vocals were probably her best in years.

How different is the Japonesque Blu-Ray from the concert that was broadcast on WOWOW?

Only Kingdom and JAPONESQUE.

UNIVERSE didn't have PVs for all of the songs (Stay, Work It Out, No Way, Step Into My World, Comes up) and compilations obviously aren't couted.

thinkingoutloud89 24th December 2013 08:16 PM

I think he/she meant on which album it was the case that the album tracs owend the singles, not which had videos for all tracks.

ayumisrael 24th December 2013 10:09 PM

Right sorry.

I would hope for a repeatance of JAPONESQUE when both were mostly great. (Not going to happen this time because of the singles). That's why I hope for a lot of new album tracks.

emi♡ 25th December 2013 01:19 AM

I'm hoping the album tracks are good, and I'm usually not that disappointed with them, so yey.

I liked the singles okay, but nothing I was putting on repeat like Shake Hip or Love Technique.

I hope she explores new genres though
Or something indie and different
Like her own impossible princess

But I have better chances of winning the lottery thrice

Vivi removed the "A new album is coming~" text from the Kuu rectangle on the site. Maybe they spoke too soon and Avex asked them to remove it? They are being so secretive with this album. :thud

Minttulatte 25th December 2013 03:00 AM

Maybe the album will be too amazing to be spoken about? ;) I can't wait to get a chance to listen to it. I bet it's going to blow me away like her other albums has done. :heart

Pulling a tezurane and the kh3 theme song mess.

thinkingoutloud89 25th December 2013 09:56 AM

appartenly there is a new coming soon banner on her website. the save file says "bon voyage"

Isicio 25th December 2013 04:04 PM

I think, in dejavu and trick for example. She says the title name of the album on the intros. But in JAPONESQUE and KINGDOM she didn't say the title of the album in the intros. Maybe she does that because this type of album have all videos in it? Just thinking...haha

happiholic★ 25th December 2013 05:21 PM

I just want more Jazz, Kuu. I don't really care too much if she explores new genres anymore. She's already done so many. Obviously with Pop influences, but she is a Popstar. And really, what is left for her to do? Neo-Classical? 'Cause we already got classical with Ashita e...
