LOL so true

It's her Instagram! It's supposed to be personal and showing her life. Stop complaining about it. Just get a grip, get a life and get over it. :o

If you expect others to behave in a way you personally consider as adequate, the problem certainly isn't anyone's but yours.

^Sounds like an Ayu lyric!

EndOfTheWorld 30th August 2016 11:19 PM

I actually think that Ayu showing people more of her thoughts and behind the scenes of her career is just what she needs.
For a while I felt like it was hard to get to know her outside of her music and tv appearances. But now that she has things like instagram, I feel that I am closer to her and get a small window into her mind and day to day life.
But I don't think her posts are meant to be taken so seriously and over analyzed. It's not worth getting upset over.:yes

I guess you're right here. It's just since she started to expose herself to the public on social media, I like her far less than before. It's just so much drama with her. Sometimes her pseudo philosophical posts mean she broke up or got divorced, another time it's just her being a drama queen publicly on fb over something private she does not specifically mention. And when her fans then actually WORRY about her, asking what's wrong, she plays victim and says it's none of their buisiness. I don't know, I would simply prefer to know next to nothing about her private life at this point.
Sometimes I also enjoy her posts, sometimes they are mindless and fun, but a lot of them just make me roll my eyes.

I like seeing more of Ayu. Though when it came to her activities with Mannie and things getting a little too visible, I was a little taken aback. This level of exposure and openness on social media is just right IMO.

However, when she kinda went a bit super emo towards the end of 2015, I was worried. The period where she posted images from the tour with captions saying "I hate you" or posting a cryptic message along with a photo of her wedding ring... that isn't really what I want to see and I think she knows that isn't a good idea.

EndOfTheWorld 31st August 2016 02:04 AM

While I don't want Ayu to censor herself, I think that certain things aren't communicated well over social media. Posts, captions, and statuses are so short and just text on a screen.
Sometimes Ayu tries to say something or express feelings that are complex and can't be fully summed up in an instagram caption. Social media posts should just be simple and not too heavy. She should save it for her songwriting or sit down interviews.(which I always want more of)
I feel that when it comes to female celebrities in Asia and their relationships, people and the media are very nosy and judgemental about every detail and event that happens. But maybe that's just me.

I love drama ayu. She's a person, not a robot. If I can't handle her personal side, I shouldn't even be listening to her music. She gets way more personal with her lyrics sometimes.

No secrect she does not like how fans jump all over the place with a single photo of her with someone

Well, I saw it on the news as I'm in Japan at the moment so I was surprise can come to this thread to find any news on that and ask the question :)

I love the AYU I'm seeing now. At first yes, I was a bit surprised but looking at all the song she have written so far, I kinda become more ok with her and later back to how I love her with only just her music and concert and tv appearance.

I guess another thing is that many people have an image of her in one way where it reflects her music (and when she was at her top, there was no fb, twitter or ig) and would fit the image she presents. So when she actually revealing herself bit by bit, it was surprising for many (including me at first).

Saw some people commenting that she is in Bali/Indonesia. You can see the Indonesian Flag in the back of the picture. She deserve some rest :)

I imagine she'll begin preparing for the TA tour very soon.. then CDL! She really went nonstop this year. Last year as well, yeesh.
